It is impossible to get all the cars.. and all promo...here is why.. ( please fix )

I want to max upgrade all the cars in the game… I am doing it alphabetically and I came across a problem… at ‘A’ :frowning:
There are two cars exclusive for those who preordered… a Ferrari and an Audi. I preordered and got the Ferrari, so when I tried to get all the Audi cars… It turned out that I couldn’t buy the pre-order car from the autoshow. I went on the auction house to try and get it there, however IT DOESN’T LET YOU!! When you pre-order you only get one of the two cars. This literally means that you cant get all the promo done or all the cars… which ruins my whole game because I have been trying to get every single car since the game has come out! When you pre-order you only get one of the two cars.

Obviously someone could have a code for both pre-order bonuses or they could use someone elses car for the promo but they are classified as separate cars on the promo… how ridiculous!

Please fix this and do one of these things…

A) Remove the pre-order cars from horizon promo… that way I wouldn’t feel bad for not having both of them.
B)Make it possible to buy these cars on the auction house… I mean what is the auction house for if you cant even do that.
C)Give me a code for the Audi pre order car :wink:

I got 468/470 promo pictures, 32/32 Ferrari and 14/14 Audi and every car from every manufacturer.

D) Make the Blueprint Race with only Ferrari/Audi. Use normal, ingame version of the cars. There will be always the preorders cars to take a shoot.

I thought some of these Forzathon cars that have come and gone were unobtainable unicorn cars. I got the game for Xmas so I missed out on all the events that came before.

Theoretically you could get them in the Auction House, but they tend to go for silly amounts of money so it’s not usually worth trying to get them.

So pretty much they are unicorns in the classic sense as they can’t be bought in the store. The only difference is people don’t get banned for selling them like in FM4 which was pretty dumb IMO.

Basically, aye. I personally wish they’d move away from having full cars as unicorns, and move towards having the Horizon Editions as the unicorns themself, but that’s for another topic.

I’ve got no Pre-Order cars and I got the entire promo done, you have to find a drivatar driving the pre-order cars.

There were 5 or 6 preorder cars
People have told you how to get photos of them
Good luck

I also have 468 photos which is every car
I have 3 preorder cars
I have put all 3 in blueprinted bucket lists for those that seem to have trouble getting a photo of them

Eventually they will release a pre order pack were you can buy all the pre order cars like every other forza.

Really? Where does Turn 10 say that for confirmation? They have not done that in previous versions, Forza Motorsport or Forza Horizon.

Im sure they did it on Motorsports but can’t find any so may be wrong but definitely every previous horizon

The FH1 pre-order car pack was cars that were not available without Pre-ordering, the Aston Martin Virage, for example. They were not just special liveries or tunes. I think the FH2 pack was the same thing.

Since this pack is only liveries and not exclusive cars, I doubt they will release a pack.

You could, but I’m inclined to think you need the DLC (a code for that car in this case) to actually be able to use it. Much like someone without VIP can spend all their credits on a Regera, but wouldn’t be able to use it unless they bought the VIP membership. Again, I assume it works the same way for these pre-order cars.

Technically they’re just tunes. I have the Audi R8 PO; no special livery, just upgraded to S1 900.

To be honest never looked into the pre order cars, dint realise they are only liveries and not unique cars so your probably right they most likely wont do them as a pack

I doubt it, to be completely honest. Those who like to feel like special snowflakes by having a car no-one else does would raise a right ruckus about it.

I’d assume the only reason for those are that they are “unique” to other cars in the game, rather than being a slight variant of cars already in the game.
