Hey guys!
I thought I’d buy Forza Horizon 3 on Windows 10 for some fun…
Before purchase I checked the compatibility list and happy to see Fanatec Clubsport 1 and 2 supported, so bought it…
I have spent a lot of money on my kit, which is the Fanatec v1 wheelbase with BMW rim.
The game does not recognise that the wheel is connected to the pc.
After an hour or so fiddling no luck. Is it really the case that you have to have an xbox one compatible Fanatec wheel attached to the hub to make it work???
I don’t own an xbox one. I own a pc and my Fanatec set up is 100% pc compatible.
It does not say on the compatibility list that it’s clubsport compatible but only with an xbox one wheel connected (for pc!!!)
The game is £80 so I’ll be well annoyed if I cant use it.
Did some google research and they say set it into ps3 mode and it will be recognised as a logitech g25. However it will not go into ps3 mode whilst connected to pc. In this case they recommend uninstalling the fanatec drivers and installing Logitech ones instead and it will work, but external handbrake and gear shift wont work, so useless for other games and my sim racing.
Did they really make it so that you need an xbox one wheel TO PLAY ON PC???
Thanks guys
