Fanatec GT2

Is there any plans for this wheel to be supported on the PC? Love the game and want to play it with the wheel I purchased for racing games for a lot of money

I really hope so, I have a GT2 plus clubsport pedals and shifter but am stuck using a crappy old 360 controller. Forza on the 360 was the reason I bought my wheel, I was going to buy an Xbone for Forza 5 but it didn’t support my wheel, I thought with Forza finally coming to PC all would be good, but still no luck as unlike every other PC driving game ever made it doesn’t support all windows compatible controllers.

Not yet at least. I was in the same boat. When the xbone came out and I found my favourite wheel wasn’t supported, I spent $600 on a new Mainboard, CPU, and Mid range card for Pcars. And now that my favourite xbox games are out on the PC, I’m glad I did what I did even though the wheel isn’t supported. I guess I can’t blame them though, The wheel is quite a few years old now.

I have a GT3RS V2 Fanatec wheel and am very disappointed that I cannot use it in FH3 or Apex :frowning:

It is a shame your wheels dont have native support, but even so you can still use them fully in Apex and Horizon 3. I made a thread with the instructions here: how to use unsoprted fanatec wheels

Or if you dont like reading video is here: how to use your fanatec wheel video

^Thanks I will try that out!

Hopefully they add legit support for the GT2/3 wheel soon though

I’m waiting for official support so I can use the wheel/ clutch/force feedback properly. Game is fun on the controller so I’m not too fussed

The method above does let you use wheel/clutch/shifter/forcefeedback properly, it’s no different to how the wheel operates on any ps3 game.

I can’t seem to get my GT2 to work as it doesn’t come up as a G25 when entered into PS3 mode. All I get is “porsche wheel” in the properties

Edit: I have found a workaround. If you have a PC xbox 360 wireless receiver, it successfully detects it and registers input mappings with the GT2 wheel.

Edit 2 - you lose the clutch ability, but at least it lets you use the Fanatec GT2 wheel. If anyone has another sort of workaround, I’m all ears!

This is ridiculous, still no official support for this line of wheels…
