Forza Horizon 3 November DLC Clue Thread

CAR 7 : 1959 peugot 405 cabriolet ?

Strange bedfellows was an episode in columbo(tv show) if i remember correctly , And columbo’s daily drive was a 1959 peugot 405

I’m thinking the big wing clue is the racing truck from FM6 as it has never been in the Horizon series and it had a massive wing option!!

car 4 is the new Honda nsx

Car 1 Clue 1: Halloween is such a kooky time of year! I love the festive nature of this holiday.- S14 kouki?? or RX7 FC

Car 2 Clue 1: It may be crazy to hear this but, what comes around goes around.- ???

Car 3 Clue 1: You never know until you try! The result might make for generations of cherished rivalries and competition.-

Car 4 Clue 1: If lives were gears this cat would be hitting 60 in less time than it takes to read this clue aloud.-delorean

Car 5 Clue 1: It takes class to inspire this kind of driving. Well, that and one helluva big wing!- pikes peak car?

Car 6 Clue 1: Street legal yes, daily driver, probably not.- Radical RXC turbo or the Caparo T1??

Car 7 Clue 1: Sometimes winning makes for strange bedfellows. - ???

Car one Kooky time of year so maybe AE86 kouki, S14 kouki, RX7 Kouki etc.

6: could it be the 2016/2017 Toyota Yaris WRC car? Microsoft sponsors the car and it’s street legal but definitely not a daily driver.

However i do remember Top Gear Magazine once doing an article about using a Hyundai WRC car in normal life, also Evo Magazine once did such a test/video but that was with a Ford Fiesta R5 rally car.
I think it will be a WRC car, but i do not know which one (could be the VW WRC car due to connections between VW/Audi and Turn 10)

Well, because of the connections we don’t have any VW? Sorry, but that is just stupid… It is most like some sort of Radical or soemthing like that.

Could you clarify if you think the idea of WRC cars is “stupid” or the suggestion of a VW WRC car is “stupid”? and why do you think WRC cars aren’t coming?

“Something we’ve never done in Forza Horizon…”

Well, if I could guess, I’m thinking of a lorry. It was in the Forza Motorsport series…

I thinking this could be the… Jaguar C-X75 gas turbine concept?!

Very difficult clues this months!

Car 1: maybe an HotRod

Car 2: 2016 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6

Car 3: 1985 Holden Commodore VK

Car 4: 2015 Jaguar XE-S

Car 5: 2016 Dodge Viper ACR

Car 6: 2015 Radical RXC

Car 7: 1990 Renault Alpine GTA Le Mans

new barnfind: 1970 Honda S800

Car 1: Hot Wheels Bonecrusher
Car 2: Fisker Karma
Car 3: Some sort of muscle car… my guess would be a Holden or Ford
Car 4: Some sort of car with 9 gears? Jaguar XF?
Car 5: Bentley GT3
Car 6: Radical SR8? Tramontana? Caparo T1?
Car 7: No clue. I would guess some sort of Honda? Maybe the new NSX…

Car 4: Jaguar XE because of

Car 1 Clue 1: Halloween is such a kooky time of year! I love the festive nature of this holiday.

Some sort of Barris Kustom, or the cookie S13 to go with the slinky s13, then they’d just have to add the pachinko S13 and the hadouken S13. Maybe it is the Fiat Multipla, the only car officially designed for Halloween.

Car 2 Clue 1: It may be crazy to hear this but, what comes around goes around.

The ACO screwed over Prototype racing and now Audi has screwed them over?

Caaddiillaacc (always forget if its double D or double L, so I’ll just double everything to be safe) ATS-V, BMW have in the last 30 years been better than Cadillac, the ATS however is perceived to be better than the 3 series.

Car 3 Clue 1: You never know until you try! The result might make for generations of cherished rivalries and competition.

Alfa Romeo Giullia, Guillia, Quadilifog… err I give up! the Alfa 3 series rival, its been a while since Alfa has had a RWD in this category and they are hoping the re-launch in Americaland is long lived and are seen as a viable competitor.

Car 4 Clue 1: If lives were gears this cat would be hitting 60 in less time than it takes to read this clue aloud.

It has to be the car third car trying to take it to the Germans, the Jaguar XE-S, surely that name is on purpose right?

Car 5 Clue 1: It takes class to inspire this kind of driving. Well, that and one helluva big wing!

Peugeot 405 Pikes Peak and the famous Hillclimb dance.

Car 6 Clue 1: Street legal yes, daily driver, probably not.

Radical RXC EcoBoost.

Car 7 Clue 1: Sometimes winning makes for strange bedfellows.

BMW M6 GT3. BMW are taking the Bathurst 12 hour very serious in February 2017 with Skaife and Ingall in the same car and they weren’t the best of mates in V8 Supercars.

Clue 1 : maybe the Citroen DS3 Racing. this car has always been promoted in black & orange color

Car one with the word ‘kooky’ in the hint has to be a reference to the Addams Family, so Ford Model T would be my guess.

Good work Johniwanna! Even I reckon I’ve got a few of these so the clues must be good this time!

In last weeks WIR Johni mentioned you’re doing something that hasn’t been done before when mentioning the November DLC. This got people speculating about motorbikes and 6 wheelers. However, now he has mentioned another barn find turning up I assume this is the new thing - adding barn finds - a bit like the unicorn cars and bonus cars of previous games. However, it would be very cool if this new barn find is an old vintage motorbike and sidecar or something like that (now that they have the three wheeler thing nailed). That would be quite cool but I have no interest in riding superbikes in Forza in first person (cockpit view) … I would be sick.

So guesses…

  1. Halloween is such a kooky time of year! I love the festive nature of this holiday.
  • I’m a Brit so no idea what ‘kooky’ means. The Boneshaker would be a good guess here but this is the Alpinestars pack, not Hot Wheels so I’m going to go with a proper old school hot rod without the Boneshaker branding. Which will also be the first and only ‘Rod’ in the Rods and Customs group.
  1. It may be crazy to hear this but, what comes around goes around.
  • Maserati Boomrang was indeed a crazy car.
  1. You never know until you try! The result might make for generations of cherished rivalries and competition.
  • Is this something to do with drifting? Who’s that old Japanese bloke that invented drifting? I’m sure I’ll get it shouted at me several times by drifters. Anyway, did he once say “You never know until you try”? In which case it’s an old japanese touring car/drift car from the late 70s or early 80s.
  1. If lives were gears this cat would be hitting 60 in less time than it takes to read this clue aloud.
  • I love this clue! 9 gears and a 0-60 in less than 5 secs (time taken to read the clue) and a ‘cat theme’. I guess it must be a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat.
  1. It takes class to inspire this kind of driving. Well, that and one helluva big wing!
  • The Goodwood Festival of Speed is a glorified hillclimb event. Other than F1 cars and other specialist single seaters the fastest cars up the Goodwood hill are the Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak driven by Sebastian Loeb in 2014 and the Subaru Impreza “Gobstopper II” driven by Olly Clark in 2015. Both have, of course, ridiculously big wings. Alternatively it could be the Suzuki Escudo-Pikes Peak Hill Climb car making a return from FM4.

Are there any good hill climb courses in FH3? Let me know if anyone can name a good one and I will have a go with the Peugeot T16 in the meantime.

  1. Street legal yes, daily driver, probably not.
  • Sounds like something Clarkson would have said shortly after nearly getting burnt while test driving a Caparo T1. This is a car I wouldn’t mind seeing returning but I hope it will be tunable up to the top of a class this time.
  1. Sometimes winning makes for strange bedfellows.
  • Let’s just hope it’s the 2012 Lotus Evora GTE. The base model is so dull, has no bodykits and it’s been in the game for ages!

Going out on a limb here, but found a food truck out of Austin, Texas call the Boomerang that specializes in Aussie Pies. Sounds crazy and probably has never been done before.
