December DLC Clue Thread

Hoe-dee-doe it’s almost Christmas. I swear, you better not put any lights up though until it’s bleeding December at least.

And with December comes the next pack of cars available for Forza Horizon 2. And with an impending DLC Pack so has the tradition become to have a clue thread. If you haven’t played before, this is how it goes.

I will post six clues, one for each car in the pack. They will be vague. Then I will let you run with them and guess away. One guess each please or it gets too crazy. You can edit your post if you get a bright light to come on.

If you guess a car correctly I will like your post and or gift you credits in FH2. If you guess wrong I may like your post and gift you credits to prevent any proving of a correct list.

If I see no correct answers for any of the cars I may hit the thread with another round of clues.

Once the cars have been announced I will post an explanation of my clues.

Now with the caveat that this is NOT a wish list or complaint thread, have at it.

Clue one for car one (from Mechberg)

It’s no James Ellroy novel, but this brute still packs a punch.

Clue one for car two

A facelift, but nothing like Bruce Jenner’s.

Clue one for car three

If gas prices were still 36 cents a gallon this monster would make a great daily driver.

Clue one for car four

This rocket ship will haul a lot more than groceries.

Clue one for car five

If this was behind door number three you would be seriously stoked.

Clue one for car six

This car does will do a lot more than encourage proper breathing.

Wow that escalated quickly.

Dunno about you, sure the 850R is a probable choice but i’'d say the FF is a bit more likely as a rocket ship that can haul anything, because the 850R is a bit slow in comparison

Car 2: 2014 Mclaren 650s

  1. Koenigsegg One:1? I don’t know, that could be anything

Also, 4 does sound like the Hellcat. That would be awesome! Not sure about the others though

Car 6 sounds like a BAC Mono. “Proper Breathing.” Hmmm…

One has to be right so may as well try both XD

EDIT

Also one has to be a BAC Mono because reasons

I got me a spot so I can think about this.

1 - Not sure
2 - I want to say 650s and I hope so.
3 - Not sure
4 - Though I’m more of a fan of the Challenger. This one sounds like it may be the Charger Hellcat. Hellcat is a rocket and you can seat your family in comfort.
5 - Not sure
6 - As I’m not too sure, I am going to say S14 as this beast will create plenty of smoke :stuck_out_tongue:

Though I’m still hoping for a S14 and a 650s

Also I’m going to say BAC Mono for any one of them, after this is a reply I got from them on Twitter a couple weeks back & to me this sounds as if they may be coming to Horizon, more open top cars would be great.
Just look at that winking face. It’s a hint I tell ya!

Also John thank you for the 1,000,000 credits for yesterdays stream, I look forward to more :stuck_out_tongue:

I think 4 is probably the Ferrari FF, think of a faster estate, you won’t find one.
Also, you got a reply from BAC? that’s cool dude

A lot of car manufacturers will usually answer questions if you give them one. That’s from what I’ve seen in the past. Also a lot of tuning shops will also such as Liberty Walk, Vorsteiner etc… That’s what you want is good customers/supporters and what better way to make them by interacting with them.

BAC are a personal favourite for me, I love the cars and I love what they do with them.

#1. 2014 Land Rover Discovery – Well, I don’t guess it’s a Dodge Van. No supercharged ones come to mind. Probably a supercharged Land Rover of some sort, and I think people already guessed the Range Rovers, so…

#2. 1995 Ford Mustang Cobra R – After reading other folks’ posts about the Bruce Jenner Mustang concept, I can’t imagine this not being the car.

#3. 1963 Pontiac Tempest – Clue 2 made me think of My Cousin Vinny, and the '63 Tempest which made equal length tire marks and won the trial for the defense. Additionally, there was an economy version of the car for fuel saving, with a 4 cylinder, but I doubt that one would make it in.

#4. 2014 Audi RS6 Avant – Groceries makes me think wagon or van. Still a quick wagon.

#5. 1984 Ferrari 308 QV GTSi – Tom Selleck may be THE moustache…And the 308 still has a three in it too.

#6. 1988 Nissan March Superturbo – .9 liter twincharged engine? Why not. I have no idea what clue 2 actually means. I’ve spent a while thinking about it, but I’ve got nothing, so I’ll hold out with this one.

I’'d probably disown FH2 if a Nissan March made its way into the game, I barely tolerate it being in GT

He’s talking about the March/ Micra Superturbo, you uncultured swine! That machine is a legend!

#1: James Ellroy did write a novel called “Blood’s a Rover”. And this brute does pack a punch. Range Rover [Evoque]? Or James Ellroy is purely there for superficial purposes and provides no hint in the clue whatsoever.
#2: 2014/2015 Scion tC? I would have said the 650S, but that never had a facelift because its new (in McLaren terms at least).
#3: Dodge Charger Daytona maybe? I was born on the wrong side of the cheap gas timeline, and that would be the “Xbox 360 exclusive car coming for free” guess.
#4: '15 Subaru WRX STI?
#5: No idea. Challenger Hellcat maybe? I’d be stoked if I got that.
#6: No idea again. Any car could encourage proper breathing, really. A pencil could, if it wanted to. I’ll take a shot in the dark here and say Nissan Silvia S14. Because you’ll probably be drifting in it. Which creates smoke. A lot of smoke. And when you have a lot of smoke, you need to concentrate on breathing. Then again…so would the Hellcat and its impossible-to-drive-without-doing-burnouts-at-every-stop power.

I’ll update this if better ideas hit me.
