Some of the most fun I have here at Turn 10 as community writer is produce the DLC Clue Threads. This is something I came up with years ago based on the anticipation and excitement I saw over every pending car pack.

This is for fun. This a place to try and figure out the cars of the Alpinestars Car pack. It is not a competition and it is not a place to discuss the car pack, previous car packs, or anything else really.

Post your best guesses. Everyone gets one guess per car. You may edit your posts with what you might think are better guesses if you want.

If I see any particular clue really stumping you I may post a follow-up clue. However, it is my goal for you to NOT make up a full list of cars, so don’t expect me to be helpful.

I will like posts I think are correct or are particularly wrong. I will gift credits a couple times to random posters or correct answer posters before the pack is released on Tuesday November 1 around 10 a.m.

Be sure to come and watch me show off the pack in a marathon stream starting around 10 a.m. on Tuesday on Beam and Twitch. I’ll play until my butt is numb.

Now here are your clues:

Car 1 Clue 1: Halloween is such a kooky time of year! I love the festive nature of this holiday.

Car 2 Clue 1: It may be crazy to hear this but, what comes around goes around.

Car 3 Clue 1: You never know until you try! The result might make for generations of cherished rivalries and competition.

Car 4 Clue 1: If lives were gears this cat would be hitting 60 in less time than it takes to read this clue aloud.

Car 5 Clue 1: It takes class to inspire this kind of driving. Well, that and one helluva big wing!

Car 6 Clue 1: Street legal yes, daily driver, probably not.

Car 7 Clue 1: Sometimes winning makes for strange bedfellows.

2017 Chevy Camaro ZL1? I remember reading that It would hit 60mph in first gear.

i think you might be right, i did a muscle race with my friends and there was a drivatar using a “DLC Car” so i took a colser look and it turned out to be a camaro. Also there was a ford falcon under the name “DLC Car” in the race.

Lol that’s some bass-ackwards history right there. The Edsel brand did not exist until it was created entirely in-house by Ford.

I would cry tears of joy if anything dirt was brought to this game especially a late model but I don’t see it being a sprint car as bad as I hope your right I’d guess the chaparral

Not to be “one of those people”, but Ford and Edsel never “merged”, as you say. Edsel – named after Henry’s son – always operated under the Ford banner. Not to mention it ever raced.

Love your guess about ECTO-1; been wanting more movie cars in the game for years, but licensing costs being what they are, that’s unlikely to happen.
