Forza Horizon 3 November DLC Clue Thread

Or don’t watch streams at all in general…

Alright, I know this is a bit of a stretch, but I may have figured out Clue 7.

John said a closely related model of this car was guessed, so he included it as a correct answer.

He also mentioned as a side clue, that the European model was better.

So, here’s my breakdown:

A couple people guessed the Pontiac Tempest for Clue 7.

If you look at the second generation Tempest, it’s closely related the the Pontiac GTO (The Goat).

The European version of the GTO is the Holden Monaro, from 2004-2006 (Fourth Generation GTO)

I believe the answer for Clue 7 is the 2004-06 Holden HSV Monaro.

In Australia it would be the Holden Monaro.

Europe it would have been the Vauxhall Monaro VXR / VXR8

Yeah, my bad.

I meant to write Vauxhall, but I was looking at the Holden.

XD Silly me.

To be fair, the Monaro was never a HSV. We call that the Coupe GTO/GTS. [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D] Haven’t had one in a game since Hot Pursuit 2.

Also I should mention, in general, that we shouldn’t exactly be expecting cars that have been in previous Forza games. They didn’t do that with 6, and I don’t think they’re doing that with Horizon 3 either. So the Boneshaker might not be what you’re going to see. MAYBE something similar, who knows. Also I have a feeling the Barn Find is the 80’s Holden that was leaked a while back. Most likely a Holden VK ‘Brockie’ Commodore. Only car that fits the year shown for it.

So we should be expecting the announcement in an hour?

You can disregard this, pack announcement is up.

ITS UP

and its a disappointment apart from 2 cars

worst pack yet

Eh…
Which one of those was “never done in an horizon game before”? They all seem like standard cars to me.

You can see a car standing next to a fuel station with a opened hood. Additionally when you turn on the Simulation damage the car loses fuel.

I think you can use the fuel station now

Well, that was definitely a pleasing selection of cars! Gonna be all over that NSX and RX-7, and the Viper should be a treat for the circuits

What’s ‘never been done in Horizon before’ is the additional Barn Find coming in the content update later. It never referred to a particular car.

Can you buy each car separately or do you have to buy the whole pack?

Was hoping for a Hypercar but maybe next month.

I’m never one to say this, but…

I am pretty underwhelmed with this pack. :slightly_frowning_face:

so we have

  • 2017 Acura NSX
  • 1967 Ford Falcon XR GT
  • 2016 DOdge Viper ACR
  • 2016 BMW M4 GTS
  • 1979 Talbot Sunbeam Lotus
  • 1998 Nissan Silvia K’s
  • 1990 Mazda Savanna RX-7

Hey! I got the bottom two right!

The third I’ll take under condition.

Pack looks alright to me overall. Glad to see the FC RX-7 make a comeback, and I’ve wanted the Viper and NSX for a while. Also good to see the Talbot finally get some love. M4 is ok, S14 is ok, Falcon looks nice!

Edit: Matching up answers to clues, 95% sure:
#1: Kouki S14
#2: FC RX-7
#3: XR Falcon GT
#4: NSX
#5: I said the Viper for this, but I guess it’s the M4 GTS, really.
#6: Viper.
#7: Talbot

Another month another letdown…

I quite like the pack to be honest.

Same. I’ve been itching to have that NSX in a Forza game for years!
