Forza Horizon 3 in Japan

Man, FH3 in Japan would be a dream (it’s probably evident that I’m a JDM kind of guy). I think that there was a lack of twisty-turny sections in Horizon 2 and the beautiful mountains were purely aesthetic and didn’t really have roads in them which did sadden me a bit (I’m also a drifter, I wonder what gave it away). I think Japan allows for a great diversity of different kinds of racers with more of an inclination towards drifting. Horizon 1 and Horizon 2 have been rally/offroad-centric. Let’s give the other guys a little time to shine too.

Kind too early to start discussing FH3, but I am seriously thinking that the next one will be in Japan. Would be a great variation between city and mountain roads.

Wait, we only have two of the Monthly DLC packs out, and we’re already talking about FH3? Did I miss something? Truth be told, I’m not opposed to this idea at all. Granted, I’m not a Formula D fanatic (quite the opposite, really) but those mountain roads would still be fun to drive while hunting for top cornering speeds. One of my cousins went to Japan last year, and she took lots of pictures. What a beautiful country. Ancient landmarks meet ultra modern cities, it’s such a great combination.

Better yet, let us give the current Horizon title some time to live itself out.

I would love to see PG do a PGR game before another Horizon!

Ye FH3 in japan would be a good change, mountain passes, downhill and uphill races/drifting would be a lot of fun. But I wouldn’t get hopes up too much

In my opinion, doing a huge map like the crew did just with better everything would be ideal, if I have one problem with horizon 2,it’s that you can get from one end to another in 10min or less, make ing it a shorter game and it can get a bit boreing.

Multicultural, very interesting, and well-developped country, Japan would be a great race to make a Need for Speed game, especially in the ‘‘Carbon’’ type. The thing is, I can very hardly imagine a racing festival in a place where everyone drifts, and where all the roads, with no exception, are ‘‘S’’. And no, I am not excluding the metropolitan region. If this concept would perfectly watch for Carbon 2, it would not work for a racing simulator in the genre of Forza Horizon, even less for Motorsport.

In this case, a place like Australia, Singapour, or again Luxembourg, would be great for a Horizon Festival to establish for a while. And don’t forget Monaco!

Japan is no bad idea I think, though i dont like the country too much (sorry Japanese).
My favourite is Iceland. It has a great variety of landscape within a small area. Therefore actually ideal.
Also interesting: The area around the Kilimandscharo.
What i would like also, is the area of the Allgäu in Germany, because i m from there and it has a lot of curvy mountain roads.

It will probably never be in a place that has left-hand traffic

Not like thats really relevant, honestly lol Even if it did, why not? Most true car fans would love to drive their right hand drive cars in their native land, am I right folks? Lol

would love to drive my JDM’s in… .Japan  And even all other cars to see how they are there. Maybe even have the Tsukuba track built into the map :0

Japan would be cool and all but I currently live in Japan and the roads are mad tiny, the highways are heavily taxes so majority of everyone use public transit. Basically saying is that Japan as a location is great but it’s it would be super unrealistic to its acutule cultural on the motor way system.

I honestly think that making the game in Japan would kill the fun for all types of racers. Many people hate the idea of drift. I think that a city such as london or paris would be ideal for driftters or high speed racers

Yeah Forza Horizon 3 should definitely be in Japan that way u could race through Tokyo and other places which would be awesome

Japan yes!!!

I agree, the only problem I see is driving on the left side. I feel like a majority of Forza’s audience is American and I don’t think they (especially the children) would react well to driving on the “wrong” side. Multiplayer might be a little annoying because of this. Personally I think it would be a cool and different experience. I also would love to see a Fujimi Kaido type of map. You know, small village at the base of the mountain and awesome twisty roads going up and down. They could also add a mini Tokyo where the festival is located. LOL now I’m getting excited!

I highly agree with this.
I would love to see this post be real. Especially the night time Tokyo. [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted-fyerball ]

I did a post about a Forza game taking place there.
