Forza Horizon 3 Features Wish List

All these points. It infuriates me so much! They easily have the formula for the ultimate race game, yet almost intentionally mess it each iteration by doing stupid stuff. I keep posting this in that ridiculously long “features added” thread where it’ll get buried and I will continue to post the same thing week after week until Turn 10/Playground games gets the hint. I wish I had enough money and the skill to make my own video game, because I would steal the true enthusiast away from this market with the ultimate race/street race game…someone needs to get the hint.
Winning Formula right here:
Extensive visual and performance customization for each car (exhaust, widebody kits, aero all interchangeable)
Epic driving roads on a HUGE map (TDU Oahu size) that include technical sections, long interstates, fast sweepers
Simulation handling/physics/damage that have scalers to dial back hardcoreness for more casual players
More common tuner cars from all regions (Asia, US, Europe, Australia)
Proper enough story but still have enough open world sandbox to get lost in (GTA mix of missions and sandbox random occurances)
Proper tuning including dyno tuning (NFS Underground 2 dyno tuning style) (adjustable boost like Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero)
Proper photography (I say like Horizon is now, but I’m not big into photography)
No borders anywhere except in extremely deep water where it’ll just reset the player
Fully customizable route editor for replayability (include drivetrain, HP, motor limitations in the creator)
Separate class speed zones, speed cameras (that way it encourages originality)
Proper AI…no drivatars
Expansions that are added on to the current map (keep people who don’t download it out by having a toll road/gate or something). I feel like the graphics really can’t get that much better with these current gens, just frame rate so this could be an ever evolving constantly expanding game where new content could just constantly be added on instead of starting from scratch each time.

improve the quality of wheelspin rewards for those of us who;ve played enough to be a level that is high enough for the exponentially increasing XP requirements to level up. VIP is a waste at this point and I am only level 420. Getting 2000-7000 credits per wheelspin is more of an insult than anything. Thanks.

Maybe but I see where he’s going. A better fix would be to have a protection system in place where if your roll is low it adds a multiplier to the behind the scenes calculation to ensure a bad luck streak wouldn’t happen. I know personally I have been on a terrible streak, landing on the lowest spin possible for at least the last 10 levels as well as also being in the category of people who have never won the “Car you can win from this spin” advertisemen. My luck is payback from having loaded dice in both FH3 and FM6. Another good fix would be to simply raise the minimum roll as your level increases. Ex: For every 100 levels the lowest possible reward is removed. I’m also in the category of people who have never won the “Car you can win from this spin” advertisement so

I know turn 10 may not see this but I definetly think it would be Awsome to have new rim choices, I think the rims that are currently in the game are getting rather boring, should bring in new style of rims, for example manufactures such as Velos they produce eye catching rims such as the d7’s, or another manufacture company such as fortagio, I just think it would be better to get different rim choices as well as the new cars added to each dlc.

It could be good to add a logo in the auction house which will indicate you if you already own the car or not…

It seems stupid, but when you have a lot of cars, you are not sure if you already have that car or not. And the huge amount of diiferent version of a same model (silvia, corvette… ) doesn’t help to memorise each car you own

I’d like a fix to the 98s Supra sound, it sounds terrible… sounded way better in forza horizon 1.

Please add the ability to change your car pre race, i have a 48.8% win ratio over almost 300 online races im a bit tired of clicking S-class racing and picking a car for the street then getting thrown into sand and water in a car 1in off the ground and being forced to use it for 4 races and killing my win ratio and barely being able to crack 60mph in the sand while everyone else flies by in their off road cars ive had to deal with this so many times i should be at around a 90% win ratio. I race clean and i love the game but this is a very aggravating part of it before the actual racing starts you should be able to pick something more suitable for the random race it throws you into…other than that one thing the game is awesome as far as im concerned

Hi Guys

I just converted from the dark-side (PS3) to the darker-side (Xbox One) just for the design functions and realism in FH3, and am loving it!!

…although, I’m at a loss as to why the Horizon Edition cars (namely the classic muscles cars) don’t have an option for body-kits. I love creating realistic racing skins for these cars and really miss not having the flared-guards option …devils in the details right?

Can we get an option to search through “My Livery Groups” in the livery editor? It’s a big pain in the butt when you have a ton of designs and need to scroll to find it. Would be easier and faster if I could search my vinyl group for a specific keyword.

hi i think this game is at the least fun to play but on paper it looks kind of play- if-your-bored type of game. some request for the game are you being able to get the normal wheel off and put like a mono Italy racing wheel on and being able to take out the normal seats and put recaro seats in (like a rally car) also I would like to see you be able to take the roof off the car and have full control over the windows,fog lights, turn signals and rally lights some cars i would like to see are

If there was more spots to freely drift people would be all over it , the game has drifting down on point and it’s just missing a place to do it . Japan was on the game before and now I feel like it’s missing that drift touch but has all the recipes. They have the cars from Tokyo drift but not the location and I know it’s in Australia but there’s gotta be a way a drift track with clipping points so people can actually compete . Forza is too awesome and would be in heaven if there was a drift playground

  1. Gasoline refueling - to be optionally turned on. If you fail to refuel and you end up with empty tank in the middle of no where - then there should be an animation with your crew loading your car on a trailer to take it to the nearest festival. You pay 20.000 CR for service. If you don’t have enough CR - you are forced to choose a car from your garage to sell it for half of it’s price, then 20k CR is deducted from the sum and you can start again at nearest festival. Purpose: just to allow some of players to have “more realistic gameplay”. This can include also tire wear as an additional option.
  2. Ability to alter daytime/night cycle rate. Proposed value range: from 3x faster to 8x slower. Ability to change it at any time during free roam (excludes changing during races, bucket list challenges, showcases, etc). Purpose: to allow those who like more driving at daytime/night to avoid the phase of the day which they don’t like (by speeding up the rate while it comes) and to stretch the phase that they like (by slowing down the rate while it comes).
  3. Ability to alter weather cycle rate. Proposed value range: from 3x faster to 8x slower. Ability to change it at any time during free roam (excludes changing during races, bucket list challenges, showcases, etc). Purpose: to allow those who especially like driving in rainy weather / dry weather to drive more during the one that they like the most - similarly to the proposed daytime/night cycle.

Don’t know if it is posted on this already but i really would like a rear view mirror when driving on other screen than POV. It could be an on and off option on the setting. Alot of games have this implemented and i see no harm in having this in FH3.

Just as a draft. I will quote and repost it whith more stuff later.

  1. Convertibles that are really convertible. Roof control is a must for convertible.
  2. Lights controls. Just turning them on and off when we please would be great.
  3. White Walls and White Letters on tires whenever we wish, without dependencies with car class and handling/acceleration, etc.
  4. Some radio station with US classics from 50s-70s, rockabilly and so on for cruising.

In-game music player from local files that can handle shuffling between more than 200 songs. I can’t stand any of your in game radio stations aside from maybe the classical one (which is a good indicator of how bad the rest of them are to me) and Groove will maybe finish one song if I’m lucky before stopping and requiring manual intervention. This wouldn’t be as big of a problem if MS had just included a stable and snappable media player w/ the base load of the XBone or if one existed as a third party app but so far the only thing that will actually play music consistently for me is the Simple Background Music Player app and its 200 song limit makes for a heck of a lot of repeats. It’d be real nice to have my music pumped through the in game DSP too.
