Since I haven’t seen this topic yet and Forza Horizon 3 IS COMING in 2016, I thought that maybe the makers of Forza Horizon 3 will include some Features or cars that we want.
I would like to see Japan with coast, Mountains and cops but only in Streetraces (like Forza Horizon 1). Not in Festival Races. I would also like to see about 500 cars from Extreme Offroad to Hypercars.
Also great would be different challenges like drifting events.
You seriously haven’t seen the 15-20 threads about this yet?
WHOA! LOL!
He literally just got on the Forums, and it is his first post in the Horizon 2 section. Give him a chance.
I guess he did choose his words correctly. But the fact remains, just because he didn’t see it does not mean that they aren’t there. Though its not the quickest or the best, this forum does have a useful search feature.
One can also browse threads by scrolling up and down and using the NEXT and PREV arrows to change pages.
On page one is this thread which is only two or three below OPs at the time.
— In any case.
World: As of yet this has not been announced so no one knows. I’m guessing Japan.
Cars: Well, take a look at all the non-race cars in FM5 and FM6, the garage in FH2 and there is a rough pot of cars to choose from. Select 75% of those and those will be in FH3, the remaining 25% will be included as paid DLC, and of course there will be some cars that are new to the franchise as DLC as well. Any Xbox One gen cars will one ported over and not modeled from scratch.
Features: Also unannounced as of yet, but we can make some very good educated guesses. Look at the features in FH2 and let’s assume the best of those features remain. The weather is tweaked and improved a bit, etc. Let’s just hope that they [Playground Games] don’t take the Turn10 approach of not listening to customer feedback, removing features, and generally disregarding long standing bugs.
Welcome to the forums. Look around, use search - it’s your friend - chat with others, and I hope you find something worth while here.
- Map
Japan would look amazing with the graphics of Forza 6. There has to be race tracks in the open world (kinda like in TDU2)
Most importantly Horizon 3 needs to be a real open world game, Horizon 2 had small invincible fences everywhere…
- Cars
The weakness of Horizon 2 (look at how many cars from FM5 where not in there!) and honestly even Driveclub has more interesting cars.
Take all road cars out of FM6, a few from the first Horizon (the exotic ones), add a few new ones (DeLorean <3) and you’re at a good start. And maybe a few cars from tuning companies like Alpina and Brabus (We need more Ruf!).
- Misc
- I’d really like to have proper 3D license plates, user chosen (american plates from each state, japanese plates…) and customizable. It’s not a must have but would be nice as an option
- Functional convertible tops!!
- Lobbies for tuners/cruisers. [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D]
- Please start listen to the People in this Forum, espacialy when it comes to DLCs.

(1) Why should the development team take time away from other potentially more important features to scan, model, and create license plates for each American state if the game doesn’t even take place in America? Logic? Also, why should the development team take the time to do this when the best livery editor on any console is included within the game and people can make their own license plates and then share them with the community.
I guess what I’m getting at is that we already have this feature.
(2) This would be cool. Especially out of the Forza Vista mode. I think in part though it’s been an issue in the past due to the weather dynamic. If we had functional convertible tops then the designers would have do extra work for each convertible for each weather mode and the likely outcome would be forced Top Up in rain. I would be ok with user control only in sunny weather but what is the cost? If modeling and work must be done for (arbitrary number here) 10 convertibles for a top up and top down in fair weather model where is the time coming from? What will we not receive? Will they need to hire an extra employee for this; if so, where will money be taken from?
Cool feature, I hope it can happen.
(4) Playground Games are at this point in time somewhere where Turn 10 where around Forza 2 and 3. They are actually listening to people who play the game and on this forum. The difficulty with listening to folks as it pertains to DLC cars is vast. You have half a million to a million players and each have a different idea of what cars should be done as DLC. The developers have to go to the owners of these cars (ie, the manufacturers) and get permission, they have to pay money for it, they have to physically have access to the car to model it if it’s a real car, they need to be able to hear the car for audio grabs, they need to be able to drive the car a bit to get a feel for the physics model. This becomes a challenge. Some cars aren’t available anymore, some companies don’t want to grant permission, some don’t want their cars to be damaged while others prefer no customizing and engine swapping, and the developers have to balance all of this and still come up with a good game.
Licensing is a very difficult, often political, and definitely financially driven process and it’s best left to the developers. They try their best to get the fans what they want and it’s all we can ask for.
Also, keep in mind that it takes 6 work months to model a car - roughly 1000 hours. DLC cars are prepared several months before they actually release. Let’s say that we are on the 4th DLC of the 6 month season pass and Joe Blow comes an makes a request for a car. It’s too late to have it in this game unless it has already been in the works. The logistics, the time, the development; it’s all too much and the requested car wouldn’t be included in the season pass or in the game at all perhaps unless it was planned near the beginning to be included so the request is basically invalidated for this title. Think of the FH2 Car Wishlist as basically, more or less, a wishlist for cars to be in FH3.
What I would like to see is mini trucks implemented like the 2000 Chevy s10 or the gmc cyclone Nissan Frontier ford ranger etc with body kits the ability to slam cars all the way to the ground add bed covers mabie visible sound systems loads of camber and offset wheels and stretched tires on all cars this would make things like car meets/ customization communities huge and as for a setting why not go to the eastern side of the United States or the United Kingdom idk just some food for thought thanks
For the map, I’d really love to see it in Texas, cause I currently live here. And it’d be nice to explore around another state in the U.S. after Colorado in Horizon 1.
Vehicle wise, I just want Turn 10 to bring back all the long lost cars such as the S14, Starion ESI-R, and last but not least, GUMPERT!
Features
More Customization
More Rims (same as above)
What if ForzaVista was also in Horizon as well? Maybe we can get to explore there instead at just the Motorsport games.
That’s a very long list, YoungRhombus. I’d love those to make debuts and returns, too!!
Thanks! I still need to finish it with more cars. Too bad Forza Horizon doesn’t have the space for all of them.
