I recently purchased the Car Pass for Forza Horizon 3 (Xbox One) and I received all of the car packs excluding the Mountain Dew Car Pack and the All-Star Car Pack.
I was very confused and disappointed about this, I payed full price expecting to receive all of the Car Packs only for a couple to be excluded.
I felt like I was robbed, expecting to receive everything only to receive half of what I was promised. I even checked the official Xbox.com website to see if the two Car Packs I mentioned above were excluded from the Car Pass, and I couldn’t find anything that said they weren’t included.
I thought maybe this is a glitch/bug so I checked the official Forza Forums and couldn’t see anyone that was having the same issue as me, so now I am more confused and even more disappointed.
I contacted official Xbox Support about this issue and they said they understand my concern, so they directed me to this forum to seek further help.
Can anyone please help me with this issue that I am having?
“The All-Stars Car Pack is a DLC add-on included with purchase of the digital Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of the game, or as a standalone purchase to add to the Standard Edition. The pack adds 10 cars to the game roster, all categorized as Extreme Track Toys. This pack is not included in the Car Pass.”
“The Mountain Dew Car Pack is an add-on available for all editions of the game. The pack costs $7 for all game editions (not included with the Car Pass).”
It states in the description of it what it included very clearly
It only includes the first 6 monthly car packs at a discounted price compared to if you bought separately …that’s it…nothing else
I’m amazed at the number of people that buy things without bothering to read what they’re paying for then blame someone else for their mistake. Blows my mind. The car pass has always been the first six packs in EVERY Forza game when released. People keep doing this when buying Ultimate Editions as well assuming they should get expansions when it’s clearly written what the version includes. It is truly a new age of entitlement these days.
