I bought the Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate edition when it came out at first I got all car packs for free until the Porsche pack. It was my understanding that only the porsche pack was chargeable. But after that all of the car packs that came out I have to pay extra? Im not sure if this is a bug. But if I have to purchase cars alhtough I have a car pass I really feel ripped off.
Anyone know whats going on?
Only the first 6 packs were included as per the description of what the car pass included
The car pass is just a discounted pack of 6 packs at the price of 5 …nothing more
The Porsche pack was the first of 3 extra packs
The other 2 after that were also extra
You haven’t been ripped off at all…the car passes have only ever included the 1st 6 monthly car packs
That’s incorrect. Forza 5’s also included the Booster Packs with the track updates.
Horizon 1’s also included the Rally Expansion.
Forza 5 , the booster packs were free to everyone as well as the updates, not part of the Car Pass…go look at the Xbox store, oh wait you can’t now, they have delisted it all
Horizon 1 never had a car pass, it was actually a season pass, why do you think it was not just called car pass
The Booster packs definitely weren’t free. I bought one of them before buying the Car Pass and VIP on sale.

The Long Beach Booster Pack features five amazing cars to add to your collection, including the 1977 Ford Coyote Gilmore77, the 1974 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale, the 1956 Jaguar D-Type, the 1998 Mercedes-Benz AMG Mercedes CLK GTR, and the 1971 Ferrari #2 Ferrari Automobili 312 P. This five-car pack will be available at no additional charge to Forza Motorsport 5 Car Pass owners. The Forza Motorsport Car Pass includes the six monthly DLC packs that Car Pass owners will receive through May 2014 as well as the five-car Road America Booster Packs and the five-car Long Beach Booster Pack.
That’s the point I’m trying to make. They weren’t free for everyone, but they were included in the Car Pass.

They would have thrown them in because of the lack of content Forza 5 had…and from memory they would have been released before the end if that first 6 months as well
Doesn’t change the fact that in FH3 any packs released after first 6 covered by the car pass are not included as per the original topic of this thread
Or should we call it the half car pass like you do…or in fh3 case it would be the 2/3 car pass lol

oh you know that will be missing something as well, always at least 1 car or pack is missing
Maybe that pack will be in the Almost Complete Edition haha
