Mine did the sync, and the game works but I have to start over a new game, lost everything. I called to the custome center on Microsoft and they were not able to tell me how to sync to the cloud to get all my saved cars etc Can someone help me please?
That is not possible, because your console has uploaded a savegame of your new startet game. Never start a new game due to sync-problems.
Finally managed to get both FH2 and F5 to sync today after over 3 months of trying. FH5 all fine afterwards but FH2 has lost all progress. I had 100% completed it and storm Island, owned every car in the game and now all gone. To say I am ****** odd is an understatement. If they are going to force cloud saves on us they should give us a way of restoring the last “good” backup. Absolute shambles.
Yes, that would be the solution! The probleme is, that the horizon 2-savefile becomes huge after a while (depends on progress). When you have a 170mb savegame the console uploads after you quit the game, you will have to wait hours to get sure the savegame was uploaded.
The forza-savegames must be/keept smaler at all!
What happened to Turn 10? They still haven’t fixed this after two years? Why was this ever a problem? First the awful 360 version, then the Xbox One version deleting my entire save? Seriously, why was this never fixed? This isn’t acceptable, especially considering that this has never happened before the Xbox One or even on any other game except Forza 5. It’s unfortunate the quality of Forza has gone down. This was one of my favorite games too. But I just don’t know any more. After a appalingly bad 360 version and the issue with the save, the one thing that is supposed to work, it just isn’t fun anymore.
When I trie to go on fh2 it says invalid profile I have had several chats with Xbox support but they couldn’t help me I have put so much time and effort into this account so I really don’t want to lose it can somebody please help me!
When you have a good savefile in the cloud, you could delete your local save and sync the file, but in your case it is too dangerous.
Try some soft things like deleting the cache or something.
Load the game up and it syncs, you can see the percentage, it goes up to 99% and doesn’t finish the sync…I’ve hard reset it a few times and deleted my saved data, still won’t load…I really want to play this game again and I cant!
Let it do the sync! It is normal, that the loading-bar stops by 99%. The cloud is very slow and when you have much progress in the game and a lot of cars, your savegame can be up to 150mb or more. Now think about how much time the download from the cloud can take by an average download-speed of 50kbyte/sec.
My advice to you: Let your console do the sync one day or over night and than we talk again.

Please someone help me, I have a problem with my game data, time ago I stopped playing strength horizon 2 and now when I log in to the game synchronizes data but it makes me start over the azzerandomi career statistics. I wonder if anyone has had a similar problem or if anyone knows how to solve it.

does anyone know how I can get my data back for forza horizon 2 I tried just sitting in the menus for hours and that didn’t work so ive started fresh from the beginning and I wanna try get it back I was level 250 and had 20 million credits if anyone could help that would be great
Let your console synch as long as it’s need. If the synchronisation doesn’t work, than you have to reset you mac-adress oder erase the console-cache.
When your savegame in the cloud is corrupted (incomplete), because you always have shut your console down after quiting the game immediately, than you have no chance in getting your savefile back.
As I told the people here again and again thousend of times: The console uploads the savefile after quiting the game (closing it in the dashboard or ejecting the disc). According to your internet-speed, it takes some time to upload the file.
In the case of Forza I can tell you, that the game does not upload the full savegame every time (in some cases up to hundrets of megabytes), but your new progress. Forza Horizon 2 uploads your progress during gameplay (you can see the smal circle pending beside the speedometer).
When your console uploads simultanously gameclips, thant it takes longer.
When you create ten or more savefiles in Fallout 4, than you can imagene, how big files the files are which have to be uploaded.
My advice: Deactivate GameDVR, quit the game in the dashboard an let your console upload the savefile at least 5 minutes before your shut down your Xbox One.
This was instructions given to me by a Xbox suppourt agent, and it fixed the issue 100%
- Settings > Network > Go Offline
- Restart Xbox One from the Menu
- After the restart, sign out of your profile if auto sign in is enabled
- Settings > Network > Go Online
- Launch the game and it will ask who you are, so have the customer select their profile

This also happened to, a lot actually, the other 6-9 times this has happened, i restarted the game, but I’m tired of restarting, ive done everything that xbox support has told me to do, yet its not working. I will not stop trying until i can play my favorite game.
I bit the bullet and started over. Was over Lvl 454, now about back to Lvl 100. Game is still fun as heck and I truly missed it.
The anxiety I have of trying to save and quit playing with this game is large. Too large. None of us should have to wait for the scrolling circle to go away, count to 15, pull up xbl menu, quit game, then pray that next time it’s there. LOL
Same problem with FM5 as well. This is a big reason from a list of many as to why I will not be getting Horizon 3 at launch. With total dependacy on cloud saving this is an issue that shouldn’t exist 3 years later. I will say its not entirely T10s fault as I’ve had this issue on other games as well but they only occur(for me) on titles published by Microsoft.
Seen as I will miss out on the upcoming rewards for Horizon 3 due to the issue I had such as not having 300 cars in garage etc. they have lost a sale from me. Not willing to put 100’s of hours into a game and have my progress totally wiped out like with 2. Screw that.
13 Days later and still in the same situation with FH2 nor FM5 will sync. I’ve tried at least 5 days out of those 13 and it’s always the same story with it just staying at 0%.
