Im just wondering if I purchase the Car Pass and VIP Pack separately will I get the bonus cars mentioned in the digital download of the ultimate edition. I already reserved a copy of Horizon 2 and I just
really like having games on discs especially from my favorite franchise! So if anyone could get back to me with the info that would be great.

There’s no such thing as an Ultimate Edition for Horizon 2 (yet).
There is announced today. It is only for Digital Download Pre-Order only. Yes, you can get the Discount on FH2 VIP iff you’re a VIP in FM5 and you buy VIP digitally.

Just got ultimate edition. I’ve never bought a digital copy of a game before so here’s my questions. If for some reason my xbone implodes my purchase history has me covered for horizon 2 game and content add one right? I figured instead of going to gamestop at midnight I could just sit here and 12:01 am my downloaded horizon 2 should be active… Right?

You don’t have to download the game at 12:01, because it’s available for Pre-Loading which means the game will download before hand and unlock at 12:01.
So if I buy the FH2 Ultimate Edition off of the Xbox One marketplace, will I still get pre-order cars like the 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera or the 2008 Ferrari California?
No. Those have been reserved for retailer purchases.
…though past experiences would suggest that the retailer-specific pre-order bonus cars will be made available at some point after release as DLC.
Yes, once you make the purchase the content is on your account. You can download it to your gamertag on any console, any time, anywhere. The game, all DLC, and the likes. HOWEVER, this DOES NOT, guarantee your progress will be saved and available on each installed console.
Also, you can download the game as soon as it becomes available. I read on the digital copy that it can be downloaded early (maybe even today as much as possible) but it won’t let you play it until the release date.
OK… Thanks… I got all the ultimate edition downloaded last night while I slept… I’m really wanting to be able to play as soon as it’s available for playing… I’m in Texas so when should I expect my game to be playable??

Is this version of the game only available for digital download or is it being released as a hardcopy aswell?
When i went to my local game store to pre order the ultimate edition of forza horizon 2 they said that wasnt able to be pre ordered and to check back to see if it becomes available is ultimate edition able to be bought in stores or is it exclusive to the xbox one game store???
I don’t think there has been any official news but at this stage it looks like digital only.
I am getting physical plus paying for the digital stuff. Got my VIP discount last night.
The Deluxe and Ultimate editions are Digital-only I believe.
