I was having trouble with some marketplace related stuff last night, and after an hour with Xbox Support it was sorted out. The method used required me to remove my account from my Xbox and re-add it, so I’m guessing that’s where my problems are coming from.
Every other game has synced properly with no issues except for FH2, which won’t sync at all. Not even getting to the stage where it shows percent synced. So, any ideas on what I can/should do?
I had the same problem as you and I did the exact same thing as what you did. I have no clue as well on what to do. The twist with mine is My Career has been reset and All +100 Cars have been erased from both FH2 and Storm Island but everything else is the same. Iv got all my achievements, videos, photos, designs, rivals and Speed Trap and Zone Records.
Oh, that sucks. Would hate to lose my save, could maybe be a cloud issue with yours? Mines decided it’s starting to sync, but it’s taking a very long time. Hopefully, everything will be all good.
Well my data took a long time to sync back and it was Stuck on 100 percent, yep the game reset itself but kept everything else and my Save data was on the hard drive and I chose the hard drive instead of the cloud so I don’t know how to get that option of choosing a storage device for FH2
When gamertags are deleted it deletes local saves. When you start up the games they must do a full resync.
With Forza games a full resync and the loading screen after the sync takes forever. It may look like it is frozen but it is not.
Leave it to finish and it may take a few hours.
NEVER, EVER quit out of a resync or a loading screen. Let it finish.
I assumed this, wasn’t 100% though. Shame there’s no option to keep a profile’s saves when deleting the profile as there was on Xbox 360.

edit - been on 67% for about 15 minutes now, hmm.
This, one thing you can do is check the size of your game save data file. Just make sure you don’t quit the game and go back into it to let it finish syncing. I always make note of my file size if there is a potential for a sync when I boot up next.

Left it to carry on overnight seeing as how long it was taking, it said it was unable to sync. Trying it again now, but does this mean there’s a possibility that I’ve lost everything?
Maybe. Don’t take that as yes.
I am aware of one time when it go to say 33% and failed.
Second attempt it got to the same % and failed again.
In FM4 we used to have multiple files eg tunes, ghosts, paints, replays etc. If one file got corrupted you just deleted that file and moved on.
I think these days if one file corrupts we lose the lot. The 33% I mention above is where I think it hit the corrupt file.
Don’t take this as bad news unless you load it and find all is lost.

It got stuck on 100% for a while, but everything seems to be all good now! Really hope I never have to remove my account again, haha. Maybe I was being a little impatient, but wow that took a long time. Also, thanks for the helpful replies, will keep a lot of that in mind in the future.
edit - The save data was 103.7MB, I guess that explains it really.

Going threw the same PROB right now forza 5 and FH2 both won’t load saved data I removed my account and rebooted my system and now I’m just wateing to see if my game will sink bin almost an our now and still wateing with fingers crossed…LoL
Gr8 didn’t work got nothing after a year of playing firza 5 and many months of playing FH2 and hundreds of dollars spent it’s all gone.?? Now iv bin on the phone with Xbox for ours they say it’s turn 10
And from what I’m herring here turn 10 is saying its XboX but what I wont to know who’s going to reimburse me the money I have spent on these game’s.??
Let alone the time invested in tune’s and art.??
I have the same problem but mines but loads up the game from the very beginning. My saved game data is 38mb which I’m hoping is my finished save of the game does anyone know how to access the save.
Please help really want to play the game
