I wasn’t able to find a solution for this so I’m gonna ask here.
Just today I’m experiencing an issue where my Forza will start loading up. The Turn 10 and Microsoft logos come up. But there is no audio. And then suddenly the game will just sit at a black screen doing nothing.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I feel like the only one since I can’t find an answer lol.
Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.
EDIT: Problem was fixed by re installing game.
Try to fix this issue by shutting down your console completely by holding the Xbox One’s power button (not the controller’s) until it turns off. Then, reboot.
I’ve tried that multiple times now. It was to no avail.
I’m currently re installing the game via disk to see if that solves it.

In the Xbox One dashboard, out of any games, hold the Big X button on the One until the system shuts down. Disconnect the power from the wall, or the wall-side power from the power pack so it is not powered at all. Wait about five minutes. Reconnect the power, then start the console as you normally would.
You will then get a green screen as the system checks things, followed by the black screen with a white Big X in the center. When the screen boots, go into Settings, then Network and make sure you have an OPEN Network Address Translation (NAT) reading. Back out to the dashboard again, then launch the game.
