I am writing to you following two Emails to you from my Son ‘JustBeingFriend’.
I am writing to say that I am appalled at the response my Son received from you yesterday, regarding his request for help. He Emailed you yesterday to advise you that his game had crashed during the purchase of a car, he then restarted and went to purchase another car, when he noticed a large sum of money had been credited to his account - hence the Email to you advising of this, and asking for advice of what he should do? Your response to him was A BAN til 2047!! No advice, no reason!! He then sent you a second Email asking why you had banned him? Your response - CHEATING!!!
I take great offence to you accusing my Son of being a cheat, when this accusation is categorically untrue!!! How can you justify banning him, when no reason or proof of cheating has been given. He approached YOU for help, and now he has been penalised for it, by asking for help. He has had this game for less than a month, costing him approximately £80, which he saved hard for, and now has been banned from using! Your Company is quick to take the money for these games, but the Customer Service to the users is disgusting. I have viewed the forum and notice that there are several cases where the same thing has happened with the game, there is obviously a fault with it, but nothing is being done about it, only the users being banned, and losing their £80 game. Why are you not trying to solve this problem instead of accusing them of cheating. Also, I have noticed people have been banned from talking to each other about the issue - this speaks volumes!
I would like you to review my Sons’ issue, and reinstate his game, it is half term next week, and one of the reasons he purchased Forza 7, was so that he could play in the holidays. If you are not going to reinstate his game, I want a full refund. I am not prepared for him to be accused of cheating, when he hasn’t, or for him to lose £80 to your Company, when it wasn’t his fault and he had approached you for help. I would also like you to forward me a telephone number, so that I can speak to someone in authority, if you are not prepared to resolve this issue on line.
Please can you contact me as a matter of urgency regarding this issue, otherwise I will have no option but to take this matter further, as I feel my Son has been done an injustice.
Looking forward to your immediate response,
Mr G Tanner
