Dear Forza,
The buggies class on highest diff has been broken since the launch of the game, why is it still not fixed? The races are unwinnable no matter the car you take. I have ~300 hours put into FH4 and this is sitll the only class with this issue, all other classes can be won easily on Unbeatable difficulty.
Here are 3 runs of the Windmill Cross Country with 3 cars using the most popular tunes (4/5 star rated).
Give it a go, I’ve tried all races in this championship with these cars and couldn’t win any, no matter the car used. The AI is too quick and there is always a group of 1-3 cars that ands up way in front of anyone else.
The only winnable track on Unbeatable is the Riverside Cross Country but that includues cheating by heavily cutting the corner before the ramp and going flat out there.
When you lower the difficulty to the lowest that’s needed to pass all the objectives (in this case - Highly Skilled) the sprint are winnable albeit barely, up to 1s ahead of AI
The main problem here is, that there is something wrong with the class if you can win any B/C/D/A/S1/2 race, be it Street Racing, Road, CC or Dirt on unbeatable with any road car but with buggies you can’t.
Those are not unwinnable but extreme hard yes. there are few other offroad races that are equally hard like that same track with Warthog for some reason it look that those AI cars have more power than they should have so will lose against them in straights and routes like windmill have so little corners that it’s hard to get time back on those.
There is actually even harder races, Titan with D500 buggies that i would say that it’s impossible.
Just won it by 7 seconds in the RZR 1000. Agree it’s broken though - the trick is to use something with insane acceleration so you can get to the front. I was just behind the leader by the jump. Otherwise, the leaders don’t get slowed down by the walls (which are then intact when you get there and slow you down a lot in a buggy).
That is stock PI for the Maverick, the AI will use buggies in the same class as you. Since the Maverick cannot go any lower in B class, it stayed stock.
The Maverick accelerates faster than the rest of the buggies in B class, but has a lower top speed.
The circuit was an easy enough win considering I never do CC, however the other 2 tracks required a couple of restarts but this was more to do with an unfamiliar track. However I do agree the AI is OP on CC tracks without any sharp turns etc.
