How do beat the AI in the cross country buggy matches? Even on the easiest setting it is nearly impossible to get first place. All the other races are dead easy except the off-road races. Let’s see how long my XBOX lasts, shall we?
I used the baha bug with zero upgrades. It keeps the AI slow in off-road races so their crazy inhuman handling and jump landing skills are minimized. Take them in the turns with hard breaking and cut inside and push them out of the way if you have to.
Also if you just want to level up the off-road career level you can create a custom route and blueprint of a road course and simply set it to off-road.

If you blueprint a race you don’t even need to do a custom route if it’s just buggies you have a problem with - just blueprint the chosen race with a different vehicle restriction.
Yeah I gave up on the buggy races and stuck to the Blueprint races instead. Finished off the cross-country races no problem.
