So it seems like my topic and many others have all been merged into one, as if we all have the same issue. This is effectively burying the problem. Pretty sad given this game just got added to gamepass. I have enjoyed playing the game for years at high frame rate, very sad that this no longer seem to be an option.
Hi all, an update. Seems the issue I was having at least was due to new nvidia drivers. You can wait for the next set of drivers to see if they include an official fix, or if you cannot wait there seems to be success with this custom profile.

The hotfix addresses the following issues:
[Ampere]: Random flicker may occur in multi-monitor configurations when G-SYNC is enabled
Users may see a black screen when launching a game on a monitor using DSC (Display Stream Compression)
[Notebook]: On some Turing based notebooks, users may see a black window when playing back a video in a web browser
[For Honor]: Game will crash to desktop when launched on GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards
[Forza Motorsport 7]: Game may crash to desktop when starting a race

Just booted this game up for the first time in awhile. I didn’t know about this new issue with the new drivers. Thanks for posting the link. I am going to try it now.
I get crashes on my laptop (1080m i7 7700HQ) when I view cars to buy. I also get crashes on my desktop (2080ti 9900k) when I play at 8K (4K and 200% resolution). I mean the game hasn’t been too bad in my experience but it does suffer from a variety of annoying issues.
I can report that installing the hotfix solved my issues, no more crashing
My game keeps crashing when I cross the finish line in multiplayer races. Occurs randomly, sometimes I can play multiple races on end before crashing, other times it crashes no matter how many times I restart my PC. I suppose the crash is caused by the game trying to switch to the fly-by camera angle, or maybe it crashes while loading the leaderboard to post my time?
Submitted a ticket but no useful response yet.
I tried downgrading my video drivers to the hotfix provided by Nvidia (current version is 457.09), but that didn’t fix it.
My rig has an RTX 2060 in it with a 3800X eight-core and 16GB RAM. All settings are on max with Res at 100%.
W0LFayame is not gonna be happy when he sees I’ve submitted dozens of tickets but hey, someone at the support team needs to get off his lazy bum and actually help someone out.

it can help if you go in to computer management > event viewer > windows logs > applications and check the red exclamation mark one’s to see if they are pointing either towards
“Faulting module path: C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository
v_dispi.inf_amd64_253e24b785ea60ca
vwgf2umx.dll”
which seems to indicate indeed your drivers are causing issue’s (for me i fixed this by disabling the auto oc in geforce experience, disabled auto oc and this specific type of crash stopped occuring all together…for me atleast…).
unfortunately the game still crashes, it is now exclusively :
“Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.ApolloBaseGame_1.174.4791.2_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\ForzaMotorsport7.exe”
so time to try some of those other tips in this topic to reduce the frequency of that, fixing the nvidia related crash already noticeably reduced the amount of crashes…but it still happens 
(on latest drivers, didn’t much subscribe to the school of drivers cause issue’s, i’m sure some do or did but i had the dreaded forza 7 stutter for 2 years which in the end seems to have been caused by windows as only a windows update fixed the problem…that was created by a windows update 2 years prior… so hard to troubleshoot a crash when you stop racing 1 min in because you cannot accurately estimate corners due to random stutters)
not great results capping it to 60 without v-sync and putting everything to medium guess these mitigate the driver crashing more then the game itself just crashing >.>
