Forza 5 is a bit of a disappointment!

So $60 for the game and $50 for a car pass is high but $125 is ok?

That’s $250 for a single game every two years. What if I told you that you could get the full game of Forza 5 and ALL of its DLC for a vastly reduced price from your $250 budget. Would you be interested?

It would certainly be the most cost effective, but I tried to make a point on how much I would contribute for generous developers.

Most cost effective? You’ll be just ending up paying more for the same game.

I think I’m sitting around $150 total for the LEC Forza 5 + Car Pass for two years of gaming I can get out of it. Plus the DLC extends the enjoyment and playability of the game. So I’m way under your budget of $125 per year. Why are you not getting the DLC?

He didn’t say he’s keeping away from DLC - he said he’s keeping away from FM5 itself.

It’s probably because the $60 price tag of FM5 fails to meet his $125/year target for games.

I know. I agree with you. I meant it’s cost effective to go through the DLC tunnel to begin with. But now we’re just getting off topic. The point is, generosity goes a long way, and I would like to see a bit more of it in the Forza series.

I’m disappointed that we were told there would be monthly DLCs and for the year. The DLCs seemed to have stopped essentially in July (sort of August). Either way we’re not getting 3 months of DLC. Not enough cars! I hope they don’t get sloppy like this with FH2

We were never told there would be monthly dlcs for the whole year.

Yes it would be awesome but it was never said we would get that.

The one thing you cannot moan about with Forza games is the DLC…I cant think of another game that has so much DLC.

I agree. But I wonder why they can’t spare to give fans 10% out all those DLC cars for free…

But the vast majority of the DLC are just cars. It doesn’t extend the playability of the game. That’s where tracks, marketplaces, multiplayer, etc. come into play and what’s missing from FM5. :frowning:

Live for Speed which is one of the most realistic sims on pc has nothing on forza 5, the drivatars beat any racing AI by quite a margin.

However there is no decent+reliable wheel, the TX is potentially a fire hazard yet is the best wheel for the xbox one, crazy.

It could have been better, it could have been worse.

The track selection was terrible in career mode. The could of used many of the short tracks in the lower class races, but no they added the same tracks for EVERY single event. Okay the game has 63 track layouts and more than half of those do not get used in some way. Catalunya School Circuit - Never, Test Track Circuit - Never, Top Gear west/R east/R loop/R- Never and so on. The whole game is hosh posh and it did loose its magic.

I actually prefer to run the full circuits, some of the short versions are just downright ridiculous IMO.

The point is the simple fact that a team of people did not have the foresight to include every track in career mode. What is even more bizarre they touted this game changing revolution called driatar and you could not and still can not 100%sync it through career mode you had to go outside career to even come close to 95%/
Yes yes I understand they wanted to push rivals as well but not including every layout in a career is just stupid.

I have a strong dislike for most of those unused tracks lol

Well to be honest I like the diversity of FM 4 more … it’s not bad or so the cars are good but it lacks in tracks a lot of then dissapeared yes we got some new back however not enough.

All I have to say is that they went backwards and not forwards.
