At this time, there’s a list of current compatible games. Forza 4 is NOT included on that list, but the doesn’t meant it won’t be added. MS has already stated that by the time the feature rolls out to all XB1 owners, there will be over 100 titles that are backwards compatible and seeing as though the Forza series is a first party and the biggest racing title, I would think it would be added.

I don’t see any of the older 360 Forza games being compatible hurting the sales of FM6 on the Xbox One.

You don’t see someone that’s waited forever to get a Xbox One because they really love Forza 4 just sticking with Forza 4 when they finally get the Xbox One? Really, not a single person. There have already been people in this very post that state that’s exactly what they would do.
At some point Forza 4 will get old (no newer car models) and eventually many people will replace their 360s with XB1s. I’m sure MS is weighing all the possibilities. A new Forza game is a cash cow for them especially with all the different car packs. Whether the lack of Forza 4 compatibility will affect enough people from upgrading to the XB1 will be weighed against sales potential of Forza 6 with and without Forza4 compatibility on XB1.
Yes, I’m sure a game from previous gen console released back in 2011 will effect a game coming out soon with newer cars, better graphics and most likely more tracks.
I’m sure a bargain bin forza 4 game which can be had for less than 20 bucks will take away forza 6 sales. How does T10 even make money if they are still selling older games???

If you watch the Xbox briefing at E3 you can see that in the flash of all of the games there was Forza Motorsport 4 at least three times in the compatibility presentation. Does this mean that it will be there for sure? No, but it does mean that it is a possibility.

I will be extremely upset if they don’t make forza 4 backwards compatible… The games that they have confirmed on the list as of right now are rediculously lame. I also noticed forza 4 only has like 3,600 votes : ( there are a ton of crap games with 4,000-16,000+++ votes …

I’d love to see FM4 and FH1 become backwardly compatible. Those two were the last time players could make custom public lobbies and provided the best multiplayer in both series. With FM6 already confirmed not to have lobbies, FM4 would be my go to racer on XB1. Unfortunately, because of that I’d guess Turn 10 won’t approve it, but they can feel free to prove me wrong in that.

The word needs to get out about the voting system. Forza games are under 5,000 votes while Call of Duty games are around 15,000.

I am going to sound a tad crazy, but…
I need Forza 4, Horizon 1, and Horizon 2 on Xbox One, for the lobbies and especially Playground, which are much better on Xbox 360.
They will not make Horizon 2 a backwards compatible game. It is already on the Xbox One. Now Forza 4 and Horizon 1 yeah I can see, but time will only tell.
But I will stretch it’s life on the 360 until the servers are out ; or perhaps I could enjoy the following first Horizon?
