I had dismissed totally the possibility of Formula One cars making a debut in Forza Horizon 2, but looking at the way Storm Island was implemented, a light bulb went off that I thought I’d share with the racing car hungry denizens of FM.NET. Formula One and IndyCar are indeed possible and here’s how. Play Ground Studios implements the very small city state of Monaco in its entirety and since there is place for it, it will be an aerial visible expansion to the FH2 map – Monaco! With that in place, you can simply map out the street circuit so that folks can drive it with normal in-game traffic if so desired, but then implement a showcase icon somewhere on the map that acts as the portal to the F1 Circuit with its own garage and auto show, where only designated open wheel cars need apply. The same thing can be done for Barcelona and Circuit de Catalunya. Come on and bring it in 2015!

What’s the matter with the wishlists that exist already? Is it because I, a non-Turn10 member, made the thread that everybody thinks it’s time to reinvent the wheel? There’s two established wishlists already - one for features, one for cars.

I’d rather see more F1 cars and Monaco in FM6. Too much similarity between the two branches will create confusion as to why they exist separately.
EDIT: Just to add in, I’m not opposed to the idea of more expansion packs, nor am I opposed to being able to drive to and race on tracks in this game. But what would the point of Forza Motorsport existing be if I can load up Horizon and race on the exact same tracks with the exact same racecars? Fictional tracks in Horizon? I think that’d be fine.
I know The Crew and TDU2 (possibly TDU1, never played it) have tracks you can drive to and race on in them, but they also have no dedicated circuit racing branch, unlike Forza.
