FM4 Storefront ban

I have been given a storefront ban with no reason as to why. Some kind of notification as to why the ban was imposed would’ve been appreciated wether it was for a complete vehicle design or a vinyl group as so I ensure no contentious designs go on my storefront.

My issue is not so much the ban imposed, it’s the fact that you dont inform the person as to why the ban is imposed in the first place. If I get banned from the shop, the owner explains to me why; if I get banned from going to the pub, the wife tells me why. You get a ban from Turn 10, you just do; no ifs, no buts, you just are, end of. Seeing as you don’t respond to e-mails this is the only platform I’ve seen to which I get a response so far from Turn 10.

We should see, hmmm.

  • February 7 in Horizon for attempting to sell liveries (Designs) not created by you nor which you had approval to be selling from the original artists.

  • February 9 in Forza Motorsport 4 for attempting to sell liveries (Designs) not created by you nor which you had approval to be selling from the original artists.

Twice, different games, same result, a violation of the Xbox Live Code of Conduct. I suggest you consult the regulations (which we all agree to abide by when we create our accounts), and when your bans expire only offer items YOU have created for sale. If you bought or traded (assuming you’re not the original thief) for the items, make sure you thank the “friend” who duped you into whatever deal you made. He/she/they got you two bans.

Neither bans nor the enforcement by the developers of the Code of Conduct are discussed on these forums. If you wish to protest the bans, write them at forzafb@microsoft.com.
