I know I made a vinyl that would be considered slightly inappropriate due to the guidelines set by turn 10, but I did not share it to the storefront for that very reason and I definitely did not auction it off. I play this game regularly and I honestly don’t know why I am banned. Is it because I made the vinyl in the first place? If I could delete it I would in a heartbeat, if I put it in my storefront, it was by complete accident (pressing A repeatedly most likely), but I never would have broken the rules regarding content of the online services purposely, and if I were allowed back I will delete the inappropriate vinyl group that I made, I know exactly which one it must have been, and I promise it won’t happen again. I honestly did not mean to post it to my storefront if that is what happened to get me banned, which is the only thing I can think of that could have gotten me banned in the first place. Can someone please help me out here? I sincerely apologize for posting that vinyl group, and I hope Turn 10 will give me another chance to play the game with online services enabled for me. Please, if anybody can/will help me I would really appreciate it. Again I am sorry if I posted it, I shouldn’t have made it in the first place. It was definitely not as offensive as some of the things I have seen from other users who are still able to use online services (not trying to make excuses I take full responsibility). Anyway, if there is anything that can be done to allow me to use online services in Forza 4 again please let me know. Sorry for rambling on like I just did…Thank you very much for reading this, and I hope that anyone who can help will consider allowing me to use the auction house/storefront/etc. again.
The “guidelines” are established by the Xbox LIVE Code of Conduct, not Turn 10. Among those items, which we all agree to as we create our gamertags is:
C. Communications & User Created Content
•Do not create a Gamertag, profile content, Avatar content, in-game content, videos, or any other content that other users may be offended by. This includes, without limitation, anything related to or suggestive of:◦Profane words or phrases
◦Topics or content of a sexual nature
◦Hate speech
◦Illegal drugs or controlled substances
◦Illegal activities
◦Controversial religious topics
◦Notorious people or organizations
◦Sensitive current or historical events
◦Any “sound-alike” or “lookalike” words, phrases, or puns that reference these topics
When you agree to the Code of Conduct, you are aware of the contents. You created drug-related items, which drew the ban. A first time ban such as that is seven days (148 hours) from the time it was enacted.
