Sometimes GT7 doesn’t get updates for more than two months and Polyphony Digital provides zero communication about their release schedule
I’m not sure if 3-5 permanent races added to GT7 with each update are better than 38 temporal races included in Forza every four weeks (especially considering GT7 still uses that awful “catch the rabbit” formula)
Other than that, it’s true GT7 was released in much better state than Forza Motorsport, unfortunately. And I agree it’s about time for T10 to introduce some permanent new events in career mode (or at least bring back those from Update 1 so that players have another chance to get reward cars).
Their choices have very little to do with players wants. Licensing availability and costs play the biggest role. With such a large gap in time between fm7 and 8, licensing contracts probably werent renewed. Some tracks are now licensed to other developers and we likely wont see them return. Same with cars, no nascar, indy etc.
The review statement doesnt quite work anymore. The critic reviews for this game were overwhelmingly positive, they obviously cant be trusted. Player reviews are mixed, a bunch of 10s and 0s dont really give much clarity.
A demo was offered to influencers only pre-release as opposed to the public like theyve done for quite sometime. Its obvious they knew if people tried it even less would have paid money. Unfortunately its not so easy to make an informed decision anymore.
500 movies, a bit more than 120 series and music. All redundant. Not overkill at all.

The largest movie in my collection is Platoon with 78,5 GB, that is pretty hardcore quality wise. I think a Mission Impossible is place 2 and Dawn of the dead is place 3 or something.
It’s funny i had to buy an USB to RJ45 LAN Adapter, to be able to play such high qualiy movies.
My LG OLED B9 only had 100 Mbit/s, but i needed 1 Gigabit/s.
What really annoys me is that they all smoke in older movies. I smoked for 19 years but did quit in October 2022. In newer movies the actors don’t smoke, but d… there always are smokers in older movies.
I’m only luke warm about Brands. I have troubles with that track. It’s best for me not to try and think about it.
Hopefully the rest of the update doesn’t dissappoint. They mentioned radar seat ajustability as two of the most voted up requests. If these were to be in the update, I’d be interested to see how they implemented these features. But, something is telling me that radar is going to be added to the telemetry menu, and you’ll only be able to see it with the telemetry open…
I’m just thinking of one of the more boneheaded ways to mess it up so, this is what I fully expect until proven otherwise.
Even if it was a sort of pause screen would work and an option to save would be great but that’s probably asking too much. Anything would work better than nothing
