Let’s hope they’ll go for a complete laser scan for the major tracks like Monza.
They said they would rescan Nordschleife, but they didn’t. I believe they don’t rescan ANY track. They just copy paste it from FM7 and call it a day.
Reads like a big april fool.
The whole T10 Staff is a big fool nothing more, nothing less.
Sure… Everyone asks for less career content and for more timed events… suuuuure…
THIS series has the same fate as Need for Speed after Underground 2/Carbon. It gets more and more down the hill.
Nailed it, I see the same toxic comments again and again. I’m quiting, this game sucks, nobody plays, etc.
MS and Turn10 are well aware of the exact player count, and how many hours people play on average, who the biggest users are etc.
As in anything in life, constructive criticism is helpful. “This game sucks, not enough tracks” is not constructive criticism.
The business model and trickling of tracks is very clearly the plan. Always has been
The game has issues. People need to focus on the issues, content drip feed is a strategic business plan. Deal with it or move on. Enough people move on, the. Maybe they’ll consider changing the business plan.
Microsoft makes money they do not care about being your friend.
Gameplay is great, at least for my experience in Private Championships…
We do post issues and try to give solutions or create constructive criticism to let Turn10 know what we want and what we don’t want. But there are behaviours from their end as well which says that they do not care about this game and neither any issues we post or any critiscisms we add, thats where we get frustrated and disappointed. If we look at other studios where devs engage with the playerbase, we can see those games to be peforming really good such as TCM. But in case of Turn10, we see no such communications. Everything is dead silent. They are not sharing anything what they have in store for us, neither their vision about this game. Look at criterion games, recently they shared a roadmap for Unbound, showing what changes or contents are coming next. We may or may not like that game but the fact that they are transparent is highly appreciable.
What else can we do, If they keep this kind “communication” ? We have to let them know our frustrations and angst. Still fingers crossed lets see what happens in Update 7.
I disagree with the lack of communication, I’ve had turn10 reach out to me about comments I’ve made in this forum.
It’s quite clear of what turn10s intentions are moving forward, updates every 4 weeks.
They announce a track, which I promise you, the road map of which track will be released is known from now until all the tracks are out. They are likely still undecided what fixes are going to go out and what is going to make it in. Day of update, see what’s live, what’s not and launch.
By announcing changes they create expectations, if they don’t deliver, the already and rightfully upset user base will be even more mad.
I’m don’t think by any means this is the greatest game ever, but the zero dollars I paid for it (kind of) it’s fine. I’m almost driver level 800, many out there higher than me. So people do play.
Would I like to see somethings fixed, absolutely and I don’t think they intend on not fixing them.
I reality this game should have been marketed as early access and nobody would be upset.
My personal opinion is every MS studios title from here out will likely be in an “early access” state for it *day 1" game pass launch.
In my opinion, Turn10’s main issue currently is that they’re listening to the loud minority.
Can you give me an example?
There are ppl that liked the progression system how it was after release. COMPLETE NONSENSE!
There are also ppl that like the AI, or graphics or anything else.
The AI is very interesting in this game as well as the graphics LOL
When the race flags will come? Or radar?
I think…not anytime soon
A lot of us are upset with this game from the start, regardless of them creating expectations. A lot of hype was being created when the trailer was released. After the release it is completely a different picture. Since released I have created many topics of the issues which then got bug logged and waited for months. And they reached out saying “The developers has noted and fixed the issue”.
So what just happened?
- No changes were made. And it was barely noticable or not at all.
- I had to re-create the topics again
- They did not even ask “Does the issue still persist in the recent update”.
If they think that turning 1 degrees would solve all the problems and would completely update any issue just to clear out or tick out then I would call that “getting away or ignoring” it.
We dont have any expectations from this game. What we are doing is keeping our fingers crossed. Thats all.
And lets not forget the contents we got in this game which eventually becomes dull in every single update.
The progression system somewhat exists. I still use it.
I don’t think it’s a loud minority that didn’t like the progression system. All the forums, reddit and Facebook pages had a large number of complaints. Progression system was easily by far an away the most requested change, from day 1.
The AI was actually broken, it’s not significantly different, other than broken T1 on right track
Do you really feel the AI change was for a select few? The 20+ seconds sometimes of stopped cars in T1 was an intentional design by Forza. Like the progression system was?
What graphics changes are being made cause of a small minority?
So a marketing department sold you a game, you pre-ordered and didn’t wait for reviews? That’s on you.
People need to stop pre-ordering digital games. It’s not like they have shortages anymore.
A company is under no obligation to report what changes were made. I agree it’s a nice to have but, no law requiring.
If they thought they fixed it, then it’s a new bug, even if it’s not, they need a new ticket. If they say they fixed it, it means they recreated your issues, found the problem and made a change. There is a possibility that they didn’t recreate your exact problem. It’s very clear they are working on improving the game. If it’s not up to your standards, stop playing. If you bought the game, again your fault for not waiting for reviews.
Dull updates are your opinion and nothing more.
The ONLY way to get a large corporations attention is to hit them in the wallet.
…Lets see what update 7 has in store for us. Dont get me wrong though. I love forza. Its just that it hurts seeing my favourite franchise being like this. True that we should look at reviews before buying the game. But we all need to check out on our own to see whats good and whats not. If you love forza and enjoying the game in current condition, thats good.
I have no problems with an Update interval of 4 weeks but then the game should be “ready” for the marked/players if i compare it with GT7.
GT7 has also just an update every 4 weeks but this game is ready and playable and the updates are filled with way more permanently content like this thing here!
FM8 is not ready because of lack of content and so many bigger bugs and because of this they should update the game EVERY WEEK minimum.
Career TBA?
You mean FOMO TBA, right?
Yeah. Also I agree on the fact there is no law requiring them to response on changes were made but its a good features for all of us you know. By updates i meant dull contents not the update as a whole. specifically career mode.
