It’s great that you can brute force it, that doesn’t change the fact the game is optimized like garbage.

I’m on an older i5 (9600) with a 3080 and I’m getting rock solid 60fps at 1440 with everything including RT on max.
AI is still occasionally stupid but am enjoying the racing.
My PC isn’t the greatest. I run medium settings, although Ultra car models, no DLSS and only car reflections. If I want or need eye candy, I can turn it up to 10 and do the 30fps thing. Cranking the visuals to 11 on my rig is out of the question.
The game runs in the 115fps range.
Keeping 60 FPS up isn’t the problem, i also have a 3080. But i could increase the FPS to 100-120 if i wanted to, BUT then i get juddering, stuttering, weird frame pacing issues etc.
Looks like they got the conversion rate just about right to me. It cost 96,000 credits to bump the level 1 Porsche to S class for the Spotlight challenge. After 20 minutes practice and bagging a second-place finish, I got around 60,000 credits.
By the time I finished the second race, plus more practice, I’d already made back the cost of those upgrades and then some. And the best part? I didn’t have to spend hours grinding away to make my car competitive. That, to me, is priceless.

Everybody wants a perfect looking game but things like this are not even remotely a priority. Game breaking bugs that are still existing are significantly more important to the playability of the game. In addition adding back features that they completely stripped are also higher on the list. Like TRACK DAY MEET UP, so you can race around with your friends and have fun without dealing with the ridiculous multiplayer crashing. Much later, visual bugs and things like that don’t affect the racing will come into play.

Same here. Even with no AI cars, the frame rate set at unlocked is just jittery. Otherwise I am enjoying the game as updates keep getting better.

If you buy something with your credit card and then 2 months later you have the cash, can you run back to the store and have them put the money back on your credit card and give them cash?
You can just pay your credit card bill.

The thing is that you can just exchange one CURRENCY for another CURRENCY IRL if you go to a bank that does that. I feel cheated that i can exchange one currency to another but can’t exchange it back.
If i would for example wanna travel to the UK i could exchange some EURO for british pounds at a bank, but then all of a sudden i can’t travel there because of an illness or whatever, why should i be stuck with that currency that i have no use for anymore?
You aren’t exchanging one currency for another. You are choosing to pay for parts using credits, as was the case on every previous Forza so far as I can recall. The difference is that you can now make some savings, if you wish to do so, by instead acquiring car points through levelling up the car.

As well as earning credits for using the car you also get up 70k back for level up rewards. The upgrades pay for themselves in as little as one race (usually) So your point isn’t really valid

This isn’t my experience at all. Especially not considering you actually have to buy all your cars now.

I mean FM7 had some free cars and was more generous with the discounts, and FH5 had so much wheelspin it’s probably why the Earth stood still in that movie.

As someone who liked the upgrade system at launch; this is a perfect fix for almost everybody. No? The system still gives rewards for driving a car stock or with few upgrades and “get to know” the car, or gives the impression of giving the game a progression. I also think they did something with the anti-aliasing on Series X on this update(?). Game looks sharper and has less “jaggies”.

great update but no we are stuck with a credit grind , 15k a race with vip for 10 minutes is just a horible payout.
You can still grind like you did before, nothing has changed.
