Another example where FM beats GT in sound.
The GT7 Hellcat has no distinctive sound. I feel like you hear more gear whine then engine/exhaust. Just muffler and lacking character.
Car lighting is entirely another story.

Ray Tracing is active during racing on track (if you enable it in settings).
That was T10ās big marketing beat when comparing it to the competition, GT7, that only has it in replays and at 30fps.
Itās just not a very good implementation of it compared to other games.

Assetto corsa competizione just went cross play between ps5 and xsx. If you havenāt tried acc yet you need to.
To be fair. Forza has never had good Dodge engine sounds. Especially the modern HEMIs. The Magnum does sound good, not much like a HEMI though. More like an LS.
You know what I find insulting. Theyāve been riding on the visuals of these games for the longest time. In place of actual content and gameplay developments. Theyāre always pushing the way these games look as the selling point. But even thats not that good. The attention to detail just isnt there. Why is there global map reflections used on Gauge glass?
Why do I get to see the outside behind my car in my rev gauge? Its the thing youāre looking at most of the time, yet they still cant be arsed to do interior car reflections on interior surfaces.

For me seeing gauges that donāt change / tick over really hurts.
Mileage not increasing as you drive on road cars.
Dials/needles that are always lit up as though itās night.
I have a Series S which only uses ray tracing in cut scenes and car viewing off track. Nothing on track. But in visual mode (Series S looks bad in performance mode but good/fine in visual mode) to me it doesnāt look much different from Series X when seeing back to back and side by side footage on YouTube videos. Which to me signifies RT at this stage at least in this game is more of a gimmick for now.

Not many people talking about DLSS/DLAA huh? It actually works now and stays activated why is everyone silent on the topic all of a sudden? ROFL,people sure were pissed when it didnāt work and now it worksā¦crickets.Itās almost like the haters donāt want to comment on any progress being made to fix issues the game has,itās only fun to point out failures of others not show any sort of gratitude.Iām happy it works now,DLAA works very well to sharpen up the imageā¦

It doesnāt actually work - the frametime it produces is unsteady - and the actual performance gain from turning DLSS quality on is almost non-existent.
I think for the most part most PC players have given up and moved on.

This is so utterly frustrating. Why we donāt have complete leaderboards that keep track of all of our best laps for all car classes and tracks like they ALWAYS have done is ridiculous. Just add this feature back in that you removed, itās only minimal data that requires minimal UI programming. Another drop in the bucket of disappointmentā¦

What the heck good is a bunch of new tracks if they just disappear on the second lap and you have to reload them anyway. They still havenāt fixed the disappearing track problem. With each update they said that theyāve made changes to minimize it happening. But I havenāt noticed it get better even a little bit. I can go a couple of races and then the track disappears. I have to reboot my PC to get in a few more races before it happens again.

We have GT7 fans hereā¦ Seems as a Sony art of Covidā¦ If you buy, you get it. There is no question about, that easy 80% of the cars sound better and more realistic in FM than in GT. But now they have bought a PS5 and it has to be good. Even the AI and the career have to better, no matter what.

Yeah, i stopped my regular work and got this job here. make a lot of money with it. Is Sony not paying that well? I mean, they should for hearing aid at least.
I donāt understand - Iām happy for you that you enjoy the game. But what enjoyment do you get and why do you come to the forums to tell everybody who is not enjoying the game they are wrong?
If you are enjoying it so much - why not go play instead of sticking up for the studio in their absence and picking fights with their unhappy customers?

I can do quick summary for you, coz I took a look into multiple forum threads after the update.
- There are still people have problems with DLSS disapearing in the settings.
- Some people have better FPS with DLSS now.
- And for some other people DLSS doesnāt make any FPS difference when it is switched on.
Its better to read the forum before coming up with conspiracy theories.
Im pretty sure you are hard on the edge against the forum rules with offending people as haters.
In fact hate-posts always getting removed by the mods.

Thing is its the same on the other side of the coin aswell.Some people on here were called out for liking the game,called delusional and whatever else.If people like the game theres no way toxic members should insult them for it,frankly I dont give a monkeys if people hate the game.Its not defending the game to actually enjoy it,its got it faults but this forum is mostly negatives,in some parts its worse than Reddit and gamefaqs.
If you dont like it I get it,your not happy with it due to its state,I get it but surely all the negativity gets tiring doesnt it?Why not move on to something else if its that bad,I mean,what are the chances that T10 will make the game that the majority want?

Itās shameful the game doesnāt store the best track times for EVERY car on every track. This is just basic statistics and racing requirements weāre asking for. Bonus points if we could race the ghost of every and any car weāve set lap times for as well.
