FM PC Version: OK my initial thoughts, good and bad. Graphics are a bit disappointing, everything looks a bit dull, needs a bright filter. Frame rate can be an issue, but it improved when I downloaded the new Nvidia driver 537.58. If I unlock the FPS it jumps all over the place, locking it to 60 with no Vsync seems a lot smoother. FFB is terrible out of the box but I found some recommended settings in this video here Wheel users... Bumps and curbs working for you? - #5 by KilrB which greatly improve the driving feel although there still isn’t much rumble over kerbs or track surfaces. The AI cars are a bit like Wacky Races ramming and barging all over the place so if you know you’re going to get rammed stay clear. Initially I was disappointed with FM but after a few hours I’m starting to get drawn in, it might not be perfect yet (I’m sure there will be plenty updates, it took 2 years to get MSFS sorted!) but it sure is a lot of fun despite the issues. Don’t write it off yet, it’s only a day old, give it time to develop. I don’t understand people playing it on the day of release (who are obviously race fans) demanding refunds within hours. Come on guys give it a chance.
