We still don’t have dynamic weather and with the change for the worse in tire wear, I think that I have reached the end of Forza

I’m so glad I don’t have to touch x4 short open races to get fomo car. Multiclass w/o soft meta is fine :sunglasses:

Shame the reward 70’ 302 Trans-Am isn’t eligible for the featured Mustang challenge series. Is that something that can be changed so we can use our shiny new old stang.
Also a little disappointed that you can’t open the hood in forzavista to view the glorious V8

Recipe on how to make worst possible event:
-limit car choice to only one model (mustang)
-dont bother making spec tunes for event cars
-make it multiclass
-force players to do it to unlock fomo car.

Tbh I just put my E class mustang into auto drive, and win anyway. Just watching as all these modern cars try to evade me  (im here only for fomo)

The double restriction of the Mustang MP series confuses a lot of players.
Many are trying the new gen and find themselves in S-Class group then - with some B600/A700 builds.

They just use stock cars in most of cases, this event is rly confusing for casuals

Also constant game crashes …

Yep, crashed in 3 out of 4 races during the grid phase.

I have like 50/50 ratio of crashes.

Yes, it should either only show cars in the right class in the selection screen or at least give an “are you really sure you want to take this B class car to an S class event” type warning.

Or like in rivals it will force u to upgrade your car.

Both new gen Mustangs have the 370Z swap. B600 no aero streets for the normal and A700 csc no aero sports for the Dark Horse feel very good.
No 350R level but more than capable.

@T10ManteoMax I have a few questions if that’s ok, as I am trying to map out the weeks following this one (in order to pick series that my club will enjoy racing in the most).

  1. Will the Ford Mustang Challenge always be a Medium length race on future weeks?
  2. Will the Community Choice each week always be a Medium length race?
  3. Will the third Featured playlist (in this case Shelby GT500, next week Mazda MX-5 Cup, week after Formula Mazda) always be a Short length race?
  4. What is the race length pattern for Forza GT2, GT3, GT4 and Touring Cars? It’s hard to predict which week will be Short/medium/Long in each.
  5. Does Cycled Class rotate between each class on a 5 day cycle, or does the cycle “reset” every Thursday at P (thus meaning every Friday is X, every Saturday is E etc.)

This is my current understanding, but it’s hard to find a consistent pattern to plan ahead with.

I’ll see what details I can provide on Friday.

Thanks, that would be a great help.

I appreciate the weekly calendars, but feel that in the Series reveal blog more detail can be given for those that look forward to Featured Multiplayer; having the race lengths for all series on Series reveal would be super

These are the past few weeks of Spec for reference:

TC

  • Short
  • Medium
  • Medium
  • Long
  • Short (Today)

GT

  • Long GT2
  • Long GT3
  • Long GT2
  • Long GT3
  • Long GT2 (Today)

What is the logic for no longer weekly cycling the classes in multiclass please?

Glad others are finding the Mustang challenge event confusing. Did 3 races in an A600 Dark horse. First race at Laguna on mediums got severe tyre wear in the last minute but did ok. Then the next 2 races I was the only Schmuck in a A600 Dark horse and dropped to 45 seconds off the leading pack then discovered the others were S800.

What’s worse I did another race at A600. The penny has dropped now.

Would be useful to have the eligible cars listed more clearly.

Yeah, it’s maximums of:

Old Mustangs (pre 90s) - Group 1 D400
90s/00s Mustangs - Group 2 B600
Modern Mustangs - Group 3 S800
Retro Race - Group 4 R900

It should be a lot clearer as the only place it tells you this is on the original race entry screen.
