Loved the Shelby GT500 in D class. This is the first time I’ve got 10 score at The Corkscrew. Unfortunately it doesn’t count for the challenge since it wasn’t the full layout of Laguna.

For Featured Multiplayer, I’m going to assume the pattern for the following holds, as I documented them last week. Not going to post daily updates, I have enough data to make a reasonable prediction now:

Forza GT3 race length changes each day, this is my predicted schedule:

  • Thursday: Long
  • Friday: Medium
  • Saturday: Long
  • Sunday: Medium
  • Monday: Long
  • Tuesday: Medium
  • Wednesday: Long

Cycled Class is expected to be using the following classes each day, the cycle doesn’t “reset” on Thursdays:

  • Thursday: X
  • Friday: C
  • Saturday: E
  • Sunday: P
  • Monday: D
  • Tuesday: X
  • Wednesday: C

Also yay for MX-5 Cup Spec being Medium race length, that’ll probably be my main series this week now.

Tbh all this open class rotation make me lose all motivation to play this game.

Every time I want to make tune for specific class, I can’t even use it since specific class I want to race is currently unavailable, so I just quit the game.

Most of player like me probably left this game, and I’m one of the few people complaining about this but… Why can’t we have all open class races available all the time?

If you put all the available classes at the same time, the game dies. And the class you like to play the most wouldn’t be filled, nor any of them, there would only be empty rooms (which there already are with 10 events, imagine with 17 at the same time). It’s a shame, but with the current amount of players, it’s unfeasible.

Well the thing is we are in death loop now, they limit number of available race class, and players leave cuz they can’t play what they want, players leave = they will limit number of available races again, and another batch of players will leave…

They should do something to invite new players, but all they are doing is just reducing current player base.

It’s not like players will play x class because that’s the only available class, e-r class players will just quit game.

Three class rotation was fine, but they went and ditched it for daily rotation, (fun fact, if player don’t know what they can do in game, they just won’t play it lol)

There are (were) many players that are interested in racing only in specific class, like some players do only gt/TC races. But becouse of forced rotation, players like me, don’t even bother lunching this game, cuz they can’t race in class they want (multiclass is not the same as standard open class)

Not saying that making all class available now would fix game instantly, becouse that’s impossible, it’s too late :sunglasses:

Tho looking at fh4/fh5 I didn’t play these games for first year, because of weird multiplayer system, but once they added CA I was playing every day, I’m curious why…

To add to this, x4 tyre wear made non race tyre builds useless in short races, but in multiclass sport tyres are meta… So even if I rly want to make a class tune, and I could try it out in multiclass, I can’t because short races and multiclass are completely 2 different tunes.

I think that more than not being able to run in a specific class or event, the cause of the loss of players is due to crashes, bugs, and absurd penalties.
And an example is Gran Turismo, it only has 3 events with the same track for the whole week, and it’s still liked and keeps a quite acceptable amount of players because the game has no problems or bugs, except for the penalties that have always seemed absurd to me, although not at the level of Forza of course.

And about the open classes, I would keep 3 rotating every week. I think it’s the fairest thing to do in an attempt to please the majority of players. And it allows you throughout the week to patiently prepare and test new cars and why not, new classes.

  • E - D - C
  • B - A - S
  • R - P - X

The multi-class events, I respect that people may like it, but to see that one class is the predominant one and that what you will find is 1 or 4 cars from other groups racing alone, twice during the race, sorry but for me is not multi-class racing.

Yeah 3 class rotation was good.

I’ve been an advocate for all classes in multiplayer since day 1. However now I do understand that this game is no longer in a position for that since it lost most of the early player base. Honestly think they should do 3 weekly rotating class hoppers as well as the brand new daily rotating hopper with the missing hoppers rotating in daily. This would allow everything to be playable at least once a week including 3 classes consistently
