FM Featured Events & Cars Overview | Oct. 16 - Oct. 23, 2024

Further to this, it appears as if Forza GT2 changes race lengths on a daily rotation.

  • Thursday: Long
  • Friday: Medium

Cycled Class is rotating the following:

  • Thursday: P
  • Friday: D

Forza GT2 race length:

  • Thursday: Long
  • Friday: Medium
  • Saturday: Long

Cycled Class is rotating the following:

  • Thursday: P
  • Friday: D
  • Saturday: X

Forza GT2 race length:

  • Thursday: Long
  • Friday: Medium
  • Saturday: Long
  • Sunday: Medium

Cycled Class is rotating the following:

  • Thursday: P
  • Friday: D
  • Saturday: X
  • Sunday: C

Thank you for the quick information. From the above, it’s starting to look like the cars or division may be the culprit. A couple of ways to test:

  • Is this happening no matter which car chosen for the Forza GT2 Series in Featured Multiplayer / Spec races? or does it go away if you select a different specific car in Forza GT2?
  • Is this also happening in the Forza Touring Car Series or Mult-Class Series in Featured Multiplayer?
  • Can this be replicated with the same car/track combo in Private Multiplayer and Career where the car Division is Forza GT? Does the issue go away in Private Multiplayer or Career with the same track but where the setting or grid does not include any Forza GT division cars?

If this is referring my my observations, I’ve not entered any races at the point in which I documented each day’s event structure. I have simply opened the Featured Multiplayer menu and seen what the event description is stating.

Based on what I’ve seen so far, Forza GT2 alternates between Long and Medium depending on what day of the week it is.

Cycled Class rotates between classes daily too, but that was explicitly called out in the promotion of this series.

I have not observed/seen any rotations or alternations on other events, they seem to be consistent day to day.

I don’t see either of these being an issue per-se, but it does make your job of documenting the weekly calendars a little trickier for sure as there’s variance from day to day. Probably worth checking with a few Game Designers on the team if it’s intentional and maybe getting some further context or documentation from them, should clarify it pretty easily.

Forza GT2 race length changes each day:

Cycled Class is using the following classes each day:

  • Thursday: P

  • Sunday: C
  • Monday: E

If my predictions on the pattern are correct then Tuesday will be Medium race length in Forza GT2, and P class in Cycled Class.

If my predictions on the pattern continue to be correct then Wednesday will be Long race length in Forza GT2, and D class in Cycled Class.

Forza GT3 is appearing now for Week 2 of racing, it’s starting at Long so I’m going to predict it will have the same daily pattern as GT2:

  • Thursday: Long
  • Friday: Medium
  • Saturday: Long
  • Sunday: Medium
  • Monday: Long
  • Tuesday: Medium
  • Wednesday: Long

The patterns held true, as predicted.

I feel fairly confident in what Forza GT3 will be like for the next week based on this.

Curious on Cycled Class, and whether tomorrow will be X, or if the cycle “restarts” at P with the weekly changeover of events.

Couldn’t this have been Race Mustangs in general to include the 2018 Ford #98 Breathless Pro Racing TA Mustang too? It’s right there at R897 PI.

It would be better to just have it open to any Mustang but by class - so C, A, S, R for example. Then you could use cars like the Dark Horse in A, where they fit better and there is more scope for variety. As it is, it’s really only been the modern mustangs in S class which are popular and the 350r is king for the vast majority of tracks in that class.
