I’ve been having a great time playing FM5 on the XBOX One over the past 3 days until I hit a brick wall (figuratively speaking). I’m playing in career mode on the modern hatch league, and after finishing a race and viewing my winnings, I click “A” to “continue career”… it appears to be loading the screen then it completely backs out of the game and returns me to the XBOX dashboard. When I go to restart the game, I find that everything I just earned in the previous race (leveling up, credits and trophies earned, and affinity level that just went up) is completely gone as if I never raced at all. This happened to me once last night and I thought it just an oddity, but today, after a few hours of normal gameplay, it happened 4 times in a row. I can get ahead in the game because I can only race once before the game shuts off and deletes my most recent accomplishments. The XBOX is not shutting off, it’s just the game that is shutting down. Is anyone else having this problem? I’ve searched online and can’t find anyone with this same kind of glitch. The game is brand new and the disc is not damaged. I’ve tried rebooting the console, but same thing. Frustrating!
Are you, by chance, driving the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde? There is a known glitch using this car that causes the very symptoms you’re describing.
