FIXED: The H shifter on G920 does not work at all

After the game was released it occurred to me that the H-shift lever on the Logitech 920 steering wheel did not work at all. After searching the forums I did not find a solution to this problem until I started trying things and finally found the solution.

I play with a controller connected to the console to have the audio in the headset and the problem is having the controller connected from the beginning.

The solution is to first connect the steering wheel to the console and turn it on from the button on the steering wheel. Then you must start the game and just before you start the race, connect the controller to the console to have the audio.

Attention: If you disconnect and reconnect the controller in the middle of the game, the H shifter will stop working again.

I hope it helps you.

Sincerely: Peter.

I had the same problem but resolved completely the opposite way.

Start with controller, wheel unplugged.
Connect wheel once game is loaded.
Check Advanced Controller tab appears in settings.

I feel it’s a bit pot luck :stuck_out_tongue:

Also can’t get the LSB & RSB buttons to work :rage:

My case is controller WITH cable. Maybe wireless controllers work other way :like:

I have the same setup, have controller running all the time.

Never an issue.

The LSB RSB things seems like it’s “normal” on Xbox, works on PC just fine

My config is Xbox Series X, maybe in PC H-shifter works all time but not in console.
