I tried the temporary fix did not help unfortunately I have not gotten my Forza hub money from Thursday yet and I did the Forza thin with the 55 Mercedes Benz and it did not give me my car:( any help
This is a work around that someone posted on these forums…make sure it was closed all the way down from prior game play, then start as normal from the main menu. Once the Forza game loads and the main menu is displayed press the center Xbox button on the controller and go to settings without closing down the Forza game-----then choose network and select network settings----- then press the “go offline” selection. Once it goes offline after about 5 seconds later go back online. The online info in the center of the screen should reappear after a few more seconds. Then “B” button back out till you are back to Forza and it should have your messages in a few seconds.
This also works for the rival leaderboards too as quite often it shows up as servers not available until I stay in that rival menu and do the offline trick, when I return after a few seconds it displays all the info and leaders properly.
Hope this helps someone…it did for me.

Thanks, that worked for me as well, but only after several attem[ts. But it ‘eventually’ reset itself but Turn 10 still haven’t given me my credits from 3 weeks ago. The last of the 250k credits before going down to the 200k Credit limits.
Will wait to see what happens, hopefully they’ll fix that issue very soon.
Forza rewards and Forzathon dont work, cant claqim any rewards or read any of my messages. This has been happening for the last two months and has cost me millions in funds. Thanks Forza will have to cancel my horizon 4 pre order i guess. As a Tier 11 rewards user this sucks.

Same here - nothing’s working. Not Forzathon, Rivals, Message Center, Auction House. Been 2 days straight.
Nothing works, not even the work around that did work for a couple of days.
Seems T10 found a way to fix the work around…
Problem seems to be a server overload + the existing previous problems. Makes sense to do a free play weekend for a game with serious online issues already for the people who bought it. Allows you to show for free to many new potential Forza players that the game is broken. Just to be sure they don’t buy Forza 7 and not buy Forza Horizon 4 either or cancel the pre-order.

Same issue for me on Xbox but I can have messages as I play also on PC.
Impossible to receive my reward for September races even on Windows : 10 minutes on “récupération de vos récompenses de Forzathon” - I had to kill the task
You may also have issues on databases or on your servers as I cannot compare my results on standings.
PC Windows 10. Rivals, Forzathon, Leagues, Multiplayer, Auction House are all sporadically working and not working. Which sucks balls when a game has time limited events. I think I won’t be touching Horizon 4. Horizon 3 had problems but 7 takes the cake. Consistent hard crashes to desktop and network problems.
Ok, update: the work-around seems to work, for a minute or two. Long enough to claim a Forzathon prize, or something that I want to get it to do. But it soon disconnects again.
It sometimes doesn’t work right away. It sometimes takes a few seconds to kick in. But it’s enough to get by for now.
I think it’s affecting in-game advertising, too. You know the sponsorship banners and billboards in the background that get replaced with brand names? They’re all showing up as generic XBox or Forza logos… You know… just in case you needed any monetary incentive… 
Can’t believe they still didn’t fix this.
I thought Blizzard was bad but THIS is the real deal, Turn10 is on another level of being horrible to fix their game. And we are only talking about one problem.
The Problem is annoying me since weeks without getting better. Tried the network work around a hundred times as well as clearing and reloading saved games again and again and… Even did a full reset of my XBO and a clean installation of the game. As mentioned by others above somtimes messages load after network off/on but only for 1-2 minutes- can‘t play rivals since weeks and when rivals are accessible for short time, my times do not appear or are not saved (stays blank). Just the last days I‘m also unable to get my last forzathon reward - after entering the menu the right window pops up and starts loading without ending… I even waited for 5 Min - no result, not even an error message… I can‘t quit loading but have to shut down the game and after restart all messages including FT rewards disappeared again. Would say that I‘m a patient person but this is really unbelievable. Just to say: everything else and all other Multiplayer games work well on my XBO incl FH3 so it‘s obviously not a „local/individual“ problem
For me, these issues started just after the august update release… Paint doesn’t stay applied on cars anymore, impossible to get any messages, unable to do rival challenges or online races, forzathon is offline and the vendor doesn’t show cars…
Going offline then online doesn’t change anything…
I lost 300,000 forzathon credits because I was unable to connect to the servers. I completed the race(s) but couldn’t get the credits. The wheel just spun and then it said unable to connect at this time. After that, my credits were gone.
I’ve been waiting to do Forzathon and collect my league rewards(lost last week reward) but it looks like it will take a few months before this issue is solved(and another takes its place) as this is already older than a month and they only noticed the problem a few days ago.
I play on Win10 / PC in germany and since last update everything is only worst I’ve ever seen. First I lost my 5 of 6 Races done in Driver’s Cup, second I lost a car in Forzation and some money there. Next day all Message Center was empty, all Multiplayer things offline. Just the same bugs as hundreds have posted before. I tried al lot, changed router settings, enabled ports, grabbed all traffic with wireshark, and of course all hints on google where tested. Nothing works…
But… I found a way, that for me gives connection every last day. First I disabled IPv6 in Router and an PC (because wireshark had a lot of stupid IPv6 packages from Forza7 recorded). With IPv6 active I was not able to get a connection.
When starting the game and Forzation shows offline, end game and start again. If there is no offline status in Forzation, but Message Center shows no messages do nothing! Just let the game do to garage screen blanker and wait about a few minutes. Take a look after 3 - 4 minutes and in 3 of 4 times the messages are there. if they did not disappear after about 5 mins, restart the game.
By this way the multiplayer options are all available and playable. I think there is a timeout problem while connecting. If you do anything after start, the game did not try a reconnect. If you leave it alone the games retries till connection or get busted after a while. I played yesterday in different leagues and one time I get a disconnect while playing. Reconnect works after one restart of the game.
Maybe this helps a little. To Turn 10 an Microsoft I can only give a shame on you! This is a game that was for me playable for over half a year with no server problems. Sometimes a crash an of course after 5-6 races a restart because of fps collapsing… Now its is a bugnest and hundreds have connection or resulting problems. How much are not posting here and getting frustrated in your game? You have spoken from a great update, yes it was great in problems. And what is the result? A change of title to “investigating” and a little message? Why is here not a sticky with help for the users. Where is an official statement from you? I feel left alone as a beta tester… I was really thinking about Horizon preorder, but this door is closed now. Support is more than earning money. 14 days all messages in forum where ignored by support, now nothing happens again, that’s the wrong way…
