Not a complete fix unfortunately but this will get you online. My game was taking 10 or more tries before loading multiplayer/leagues, and wasn’t loading messages or rivals at all.
Open the game and in from the main menu, press the Xbox button on your controller, scroll to settings - network settings. Click ‘go offline’, wait 5 seconds, then click ‘go online. Go back to Forza and your messages will load and you’ll be able to go online either immediately or with a couple of clicks of the button.
This issue has plagued me the last 2 weeks, I’ve done everything from opening ports, setting the Xbox as DMZ, hard reset (holding Xbox button to power down), signing in and out. This is the only thing that consistently gets me online every time.
T10 should gift you a couple cars of your choice and some credits for posting this.
Out of 3 accounts, one had messages shortly after entering the game. The other two didn’t, but trying this, which takes about 10 seconds tops, had messages as soon as I backed back in to the game.
I used it at home last night on my slow internet where 8 out of ten times an account won’t have messages. played on two accounts that were used earlier on a faster internet. One account received 32 messages, with gift cars dating back to the Indy bounty hunter, another account had 15 messages.
I just got one message in the Message Center: For the new Watkins Glen Welcome to the Track! rivals event.
I think in my case the old messages (rewards from the stream) are gone

After a last attempt in restarting the game, they popped all after a few seconds.
Dailys, Rivals-Recommendations and my Rewards are all there.
So it worked, but man, putting the game on Games with Gold right now was not the best timing, just sayin…

You have the ultimate hardcore, nearly impossible task to complete one race to get 1 million credits for free.
Maybe I misread something, maybe its only a free weekend?
Because the #Forzathon Event is only active for 4 days.
Same for me last night. I could do anything, leagues, AH etc, but had no messages, which should have had ll the prizes from the RC brodcast yesterday. I tried this trick but still didn’t get any messages to come across.
Didnt work for me unfortunately.Its always been intermittent for me but usually sorts itself out after a day or so but this time the message centres been off for 2 weeks solid,no rewards etc.I can access rivals mode and claim my auction house sales but no messages!
