I just got done playing nurburgring, it sucks, forza 4s nurburgring was way better, why? Because the last nurburgring in forza 4 let get off the track without any punishment as long as it wasn’t to improve your time, but in forza 6, if half of your car gets in the grass, your hooked into the wall and you have to steer all the way left for 8 seconds to get out, meanwhile when you’re in the grass, you are only going 50 mph and 10 people blow past you, I can’t completely stay on the track, and I think unless you’ve been playing forza since the very first version of it, you can’t completely stay on the track, please find nurburgring, I love the track, but its been ruined
Good for you that you’ve been able to run clean times, but try getting into the grass, you will go from 120 mph to 50 in 3 seconds, then you will get hooked towards the wall, good for you that you can run clean laps in practice mode, but online you will be shoved into the grass and he and 10 other cars will pass you
All of my Ring LB times and my buddies have come online(lots of top 10-50 in S class), yeah I may get shoved off the track at the start but as long as you keep it on the track the rest of the race you can podium easy and even still get first depending on the lobby. Stay on the track problem solved.
Indeed, a lot of Hopper players don’t have the skill or experience to survive a lap of the Nordschleife.
I had a B/600 race last week where I was involved in a heavy crash at turn 1, rolling the car. Despite this I still won by 10 seconds, as almost every other driver would fall off the track or fail to make passes due to impatience.
There’s a reason why you don’t often see cars put two wheels in the grass in a real race, it tends to go very badly. You’re not asking them to fix Nurburgring, you’re asking them to break it.
The forza 4 version is 10% wider and longer and more of a imagination of the track. In reality the one introduced in forza 5 and used in forza 6 has been laser scanned and very accurate and I love it.
To the OP your quite opposite to most complaints made. Most want a penalty to corner cutting and driving off track, you seem to want to be able to do it. I hated forza 4s version and all the corner cutting without any penalty, especially the foxhole section where they would completely drive across it and skip a good 5 Seconds off their time.
Like others have said keep it on track it’s quicker that way, fortunately.
I believe you are referring to the sticky walls issue. Its a huge improvement on the sticky grass, so its a put up and shut up moment Im afraid. And its worse on any alps track, believe me.
“Grass braking” was actually an exploit in Forza Motorsport 4. A number of top drivers found that if you put 2 wheels on the grass while braking, you can reduce your stopping distance. That in turn meant you could brake later and get better laptimes.
Stay away from the grass then? Simple fix that you can do yourself.
Ah I see, the problem is actually sitting in front of the screen.
Well, I started with Forza 2 but I’m certainly not a pro, yet I am able to stay on the racing line and not touch the grass.
Practice and it will be fine.
No it’s not ruined, you’re just asking to lower the skill requirements to run clean laps.
This is not supposed to be offensive towards you, but I find threads like this fairly amusing…
“I can’t run the racing line. Turn10 pls fix”.
Absolutely nothing rong with the Nurburgring in FM6. In my opinion it’s the best version yet. Spend time running laps till you have the track memorized.
Definitely the best version in Forza 6. The one in 5 was a huge improvement on the earlier versions. I’m terrible at the ring but it’s not the track, it’s me.
I agree the track would be much easier to drive at top speed if it was wider, but in reality it is not a very wide track and that is part of what makes it so challenging to drive. I use a controller to play and it does take some luck to get a completely clean lap
The ring has never been more accurate. The Forza 4 version was gray and not very pleasant, now it’s much more colorful and nice. Since Forza 5 the Nordschleife has been massively improved and for the better. The elevation, the curbs, every single bump and dent is milles better than any of the xbox 360 variants. Not to mention the puddles in the rain and the pitch black void during the night. As others have said, it’s the lack of skill, not the game itself. I personally am very impressed by the effort these guys did to make it just like the real thing. And honestly, they really nailed it.
To the OP, all it takes is practice, practice and even more practice. I am in no way a pro but I can win almost any race at unbeatable with almost no assists on almost all tracks. You can’t reach that level of skill without training. Just put a few more laps into the ring and then post again.
