FIAT 595 & MG METRO 6R4 are impossible to tune -_-

I have had no problem with any cars, but these two are just impossible. One of the lightest cars on the game, the Fiat 595 weighing over 1,000 lbs or so; it just sometimes likes to go on two wheels for some reason & the MG METRO just likes to turn in way too sharp at high speed (which isn’t much speed) and just is impossible to control. If anyone has a tune for these two cars. Any tips or anything would be fantastic! As I know they have a lot of potential. I’m by no means a leaderboard driver, but I can not tune them and I’ve tuned around 100 cars. Please help!!

If memory serves the 595 works better if you convert it to AWD, at least in the lower classes.

As for the metro, if you look you’ll see that by default it has more downforce on the front than the rear, hence the reason you lose the rear at speed in the bends.
Reduce the front downforce to about 100lbs less than the rear and it should behave a lot better.

Fiat dont need AWD, it just doesn’t like too much grip

Or curbs or bumps. Lol

Getting the build right is the key.

Checked my garage and i did convert mine to AWD. Left it in E class and, for me at least, it’s a lot better when converted.

Thanks guys. I’m glad I’m not the only one with this problem lol. The fiat 595 I’ve left in E-class and AWD too because with any more power it goes on two wheels. As for the metro it’s one weird car to tune. Ok I’ll try using the metro with less downforce at the front, but it’s very twitchy around corners. Any other tips on the car would be great. But I’ll try my best. The fiat is just insane lol, but the lotus eleven in D-Class is fantastic! I’ll try with these two cars… lol

On the smallest long beach layout in S-class there is a shared MG metro in the top 10 on the leaderboard. The tune is shared so you can try it.

I have tune for both of these cars shared.

The MG Metro is in S class, and it’s great on short WET circuits (like Brands hatch rain) To be honest I really don’t think it could be competetive anywhere else

The Abarth 959 is in E or D class Still RWD, you will be slow trough turns, but there is almost nothing that could keep up with it’s acceleration, And of course you need to avoid kerbs

Metro was a pain to tune but I have 1 shared… it is wild to drive but does good on short grip tracks. Lower the front aero and raise the rear decel and start from there. Also no front tire widths if i remeber correctly.

I have a B class 595 shared thats AWD with the rotary engine in it thats great for wet tracks that need lots of acceleration, mainly sebring where I had it in the top 100 at one point. When building a 595 (or any other car that goes on 2 wheels easily) you need to use skinny tires,my 595 one only has 1 level of tire width upgrade on it and if that doesnt work reduce camber.

high ride height + short front/rear axle dist…
it’s where such unique handling characteristics come from.

after all it’s a Group B rally, not designed for road courses…
(especially high speed ones, noticed it has a top end capped at 220 kph with default gearing settings?)

And the ability to change upgrades and the settings in the tune won’t make a difference? If you compare cars in forza with the reality…well, then you didn’t understand the game.

it trys to simulate how those cars behave approximately at least…

maybe try stiffer anti-roll bars/springs/damping?
helps in someway.(though won’t make a change on essence… and doing so is somewhat against the original design of this car.)

and try below differential settings may help:

I’ll jump on this 2 and see what I come up with, sounds like a pain tho…lol…

Metro A700, tuned and built for long beach west (currently 14th) It’s rubbish everywhere else.
