They honestly just need to give seller the option to not allow buyouts on their auctions, like if I’m selling something I should be able to do my best to stop scalpers and bots from sniping them, just add a bid only option, seems like it would actually make the auction house interesting and intense bidding wars like, i don’t know, an actual auction? I think buyers and sellers would find that much more interesting to take part in, my friend has gotten each of the FE cars and if they get them in wheelspins they just gift them just to prevent bots and scalpers from getting more, feel like it shouldn’t have come to that

Ive bid on cars in previous games,and won and lost,but it was more fun.Like you say,like a real auction,no buyout option,seller still gets his money and the winner gets the car he wants.Maybe drop the minimum auction time from 1hr to say,10 mins,so its not a slog having to watch the bidding.Still cap the bids at a maximum though.
One of The most annoying things about the auction house in FH6 is when your in a bidding war or even if your just the only bid waiting for the time to run out and someone buys out the completely stock car for double what it’s worth in the autoshow, it even shows the price in red meaning it’s more expensive than just buying from the autoshow.
I’ve never seen it like this in previous forza games
Also it takes way too long for the bidding to end when in a bidding war at the last minute or says ending soon because every bid brings the timer back up to 1 minute, I remember this never used to happen and the auction would end at the specified time no matter what
I also think the auction house is rife with bots. On an FE car, pressing Y to buy out didnt work from probably 100 instances. What do the bots do with the cars?
Also what are the ethics of putting (expensive) cars into the auction house with wheel spin skill slots already taken?
A game played simultaneously by hundreds of thousands of players—all hunting for the same ten or so rare Forza Editions in the auction house—doesn’t need bots. I still don’t know what is so incredibly hard to grasp about that.
