FH5 Rally Adventure expansion now available

Solid list!

Yeah, Green Day probably shouldn’t fall in the “classic rock” category, but these days they’ll play anything 20+ years old.

I did a vinyl group of the iconic Green Day album cover with a scatological name, and am currently working on the Queen “crest”.

Don’t know why but I’ve always considered Green Day as more of a pop leaning version of rock.
My nephews love them though so who am I to say…
Must be an age thing :older_man: :metal:

Oh wow, Cream, there’s a blast from the past I hadn’t thought about in a while. Off to YouTube to surf some tracks

Gotta bump up those player engagement metrics somehow!

I have an original One. While I don’t have FH5 on it, it handles FH4 and FH3 surprisingly well. It’s a tough little beast.

Yeah - tough one for most to remember. Unless you played Guitar Heroes on PS2.

I first got given some rare vinyl albums from a mate of my Dad’s in my early teens to add to my collection along with some other rare originals from the 60’s of the likes of Cream, The Stones, Sabbath, Zep, Floyd, Nugent and others.
Sadly, a so-called mate of mine at the time kept “borrowing” them and I never got them back - reckon he was getting cash for more hash - so now I only have CD’s plus some other vinyls that I already had but not the first copies. He probably sold them for a few quid at the time instead of what they might be worth today.

Got everything on an SD card in the car so I tend to flick through various bands from that for a while then pick another.

That’s why I said “FORCIBLY”. Also, “first things”? I didn’t get any pop-up suggesting changes because of the DLC. Or whatever you mean should have happened.

Didn’t get any of the sort. Only reason I could think of is having set the difficulty to “Tourist” as I mentioned (far) earlier.

I just got to pick driving line on/off when going for the “do three races at minimum highly skilled” in the Raptors category, so my guess was right.

I’d toss in some Megadeth, Alice Cooper, and - for a slightly more obscure pick - Dirty Rotten Imbeciles. Beneath The Wheel, in particular, from DRI.

Anyway, finished up all the races Friday afternoon before I knew it. Somehow, this managed to feel even shorter than the Hot Wheels expansion. Maybe in part because I don’t really feel compelled to attempt go for all the challenges, but I think it took me longer to complete the events in HW, too.

I was having a problem getting the 100 grit boxes, had 60ish and no more were spawning. Left it overnight but still no respawns,so wondered if doing another grit race would trigger them.So i picked one and got the ‘you are currently in a championship’ warning message. As far as i knew i wasn’t in a championship, there were no white icons on the map and i hadn’t knowingly entered one,but had been doing tours and opens last night.
Anyway, cancelled championship and grit boxes magically re-appear
Doubt its a bug, more likely a one-off,but if anyone is having trouble with the grit boxes it’s something to check.Weirdly, the red trucks were still spawning.
Car crime must be rife in Mexico,as they seem to have resorted to welding their cars to the ground when parked up

I’ve had same “in a current championship” (or whatever) message when I definitely wasn’t. Another bug. Also had HW roll indicator switch itself back on (been off since the day HW launched).

Not sure anyone else has mentioned Trailblazers – or the lack thereof – but I’ve only just noticed it. I know that TBs have no love from lots of people (recent poll by Forza it came in least favorable of all PR stunts by a long way) but that’s more content that could’ve been added to this DLC relatively easily I would’ve thought. I really love Trailblazers, if designed properly they’re some of the most exciting (and frustrating if failing to get in the 3-star time) activities in main Mexico map.

This entire DLC and latest game breaking update (re tunes causing crashing amongst other stability issues and the Steam lockout) have caused me to have a major mental breakdown after going full psycho on Twitter. Somewhat embarrassing (no, wholly embarrassing) but my mental health is fragile at best. I play this game a LOT to escape my mundane daily existence and ill health (physical and mental) issues and to see a bunch of happy-clappy praise for the DLC by many in the community (on Twitter anyway) with no acknowledgment of anything untoward or disappointing tipped me over.

I’m pleased to see a lot of constructive and objective criticism here on the official forums and I only hope that someone somewhere is kicking a rescue plan into action to really save this game.

I’ll continue with the weekly/seasonals on RA but I’m not doing anything more. I’ve also done that for my daughter’s account so she has access to all cars/wardrobe items/horns whatever else (have done since about week 3 of the game launch) but I’m not engaging with it any more that absolutely necessary.

edited for typos corrections.

Yup, it’s a Forza expansion all right

Gotta admit there is some I like. At least if you count Spirit in the Sky. A few others too, but then my musical tastes have always been full range. I’ll even admit to growing to like a few rappers.

They keep promising us flying cars in real life, Forza is just ahead of it’s time

Try saying that a map extension would work on Xbox One with a straight face.

The game crashes plenty just on it’s own, a map extension wouldn’t help.

Oh yeah! :+1:t2: I know we’ve strayed a bit OT, but will never forget being in the Snake Pit for the “Nowhere Else to Roam” tour in ‘93 at Zeppelin Field, Nuremberg while I was stationed in Germany. Suicidal Tendencies & The Cult opened for them. Got a pick from James Hettfield :metal:t2::guitar:
Would definitely be nice to have some of these bands in a core Rock station in the game.

The thought of logging in one day and “Desecrator” by Exhorder playing on the radio.:metal::skull:
