FH5 Rally Adventure expansion now available

Hey guys, do you know which is the requirement to have access to the two weekly challenges for the rally dlc in the playlist? Have you to complete the expedition and the first race of the dlc?

OMG a car is on my ass. I can see their headlights. Wait nvm it’s just the :helicopter:

From this series onwards, Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure players will find two exclusive events available every week on the Festival Playlist. These will include a Seasonal Championship and PR Stunt set in Sierra Nueva and are unlocked by winning the Horizon Badlands Goliath.

Congratulations. I’m never buying a premium/ultimate edition blind again.

Not worth the wait or the secrecy all in all. Just not.
It’s very difficult to be positive.

Question: Does anti-lag not work with diesel turbo IRL?

Really a stupid decision, This means that the devs force the completionists like me to complete the DLC in less than one week only to have access to the rally weekly challenges, really really stupid…

Another expansion map without horizon arcades.
I should’ve expected this after hot wheels didn’t have any, but it’s still disappointing.

What’s forcing you to be a completionist? If you want to be one, you have to accept that sometimes it’s going to be hard to pull off and that sometimes other priorities will mean you’ll fall short.

I try to complete everything as well, but I fell short in the first 2 series. Series 1 I missed an Arcade when they were a real PITA to complete and the challenge for 3 eliminations in 1 Eliminator. Skipped a couple events in Series 2 because I didn’t care for the rewards and figured the series was lost because of the bugged Treasure Hunt the first week. Then they retroactively granted the Treasure Hunt. Would be nice to have them, but ultimately it’s not a big deal.

You also don’t need to complete the DLC to get the weekly challenges. I’m not sure if just winning all the routes in either rally or race is enough to unlock each champion or if you need to do some of the other missions to earn enough rep, but you definitely don’t need everything to unlock them.

You have to win all the races in order to unlock Goliath and this is stupid in my opinion with the DLC released only yesterday. Up to now I have completed 100% all the playlists including the weekly DLCs challenges.

Yeah, but it sounds like there’s maybe 3 days worth of races to get there at a moderate pace anyway.

If it’s stupid, then don’t do it. It won’t hurt. Take it from someone who knows. The only one really forcing you to do it is you.

Thanks for your very useful words :grinning: :grinning: :grinning: :grinning:

What does the campaign unlock and is it necessary to do?

How do I find all the promo boards without combing the desert?

There are maps out there. I came across one in the Discord. Was looking to see if completing missions unlocked unlocked boards, since more had appeared as I was working through the Apex group, but I was stuck at 22 with just a couple race routes and the champion left. Oddly, one of them was triggered on the map by driving down the nearby road, which I had already driven down.

As for the desert, there are 4 there. 1 by the road southeast of the Bike Track, 2 in Crateres Secos and 1 along the south side of the southeast hairpin.

I agree I don’t want to rush through the dlc just to do the weekly events set In Sierra Nueva I like to complete everything when I can and I don’t like that I have to finish the entire dlc within a week to be able to do these stupid decision I think they should just be available from the get go but it is what it is
