17.8GB Download at nearly no speed…

There was a 10 MB placeholder there yesterday. Go into Games and Apps, manage the FH5 install and delete that 10 MB Rally file. Then go to manage again and it should show the 18.4 GB full DLC.

I am playing the Windows pc version of the game, since the update yesterday the game is hit or miss if it starts or not, sometimes I have to try 4 or 5 times to get it to start.The starting of the game from the first screen takes ages, then the picture shrinks to a quarter of the size, sometimes the game starts, sometimes it does not.I do not have the dlc, just the base game.
Xbox is streaming the expansion on their Twitch channel:

I had the 10MB placeholder, but I didn’t need to delete it - I just refreshed my updates section and the expansion popped up as an update. And it’s just now finishing.

Console players, if it doesn’t update automatically, you may try going to My Games & Apps, See All, and manage Updates to initiate it manually.

Maybe it took a few minutes for the console to realize the DLC was updated on the store. Still have 7 minutes here, downloading at 125 Mbps.
Still better than my 0kB/s. Yes, zero.
…and being less dramatic. Download speed is jumping for me, but I see zero pretty often. Currently at 3GB (16%) downloaded after 15min.

Even on an Xbox Series X, I’m left here waiting. I thought the point of a new console was that downloads were faster. And they are with a disc, but a digital download takes a lifetime.
Wise plan, wishing I had, but such slow internets here I need to start soonest. Instead I’m stuck in an enless loading screen pre-download 
(picturing one poor overloaded server rack smoking in some dark basement… )
