Announced today, here are the Achievements coming to Xbox and Steam for both Series 10 and the Hot Wheels Expansion.

Eight new achievements for a total of 130 Gamerscore are coming to all Forza Horizon 5 players in the Series 10 Update. If you’ve already fulfilled the unlock prerequisites for any of these new achievements, they will be retroactively unlocked once available in the game:

That smash the pinata in drift club his been there a while but I havent seen a pinata during that chapter…I already did One for All and in the saddle for the accolades a few weeks ago.
There’s a street sellers cart loaded up with them and/or around it at one of the sharp turns. Easy to accidentally hit it and get the accolade. Also easy to have missed it and not seen them, they’re tiny ones.
If it was me, and I hadn’t done it yet, I’d wait until the download and new achievements just in case it doesn’t automatically award the achievement because it was already completed as an accolade. Of course it could be buggy anyway, so… que sera sera.
Tiny elephant in this room - for those achievements where it’s the same as an accolade that’s already been done, will the game recognise it immediately or require a repeat?
Larger elephant in this room - if it doesn’t recognise the accolade is the game going to recognise a repeated success? Similar bugs are still in the game, completing and getting three stars in story chapters can’t be done (fallback playlist and could still be true of the online one).
That was correct! And yes since the game has been notoriously buggy specifically the accolades, I figured that was the case with this accolade. Appreciate the help!
Frankly, fwiw to the “discussion”, I’m a bit disappointed they went the Rerun route for the “new” achievements and just stacked them on old accolades. A few reasons at least. One, it seems kind of lazy, what ? no new ideas in the house ? Really ? Two, begs to be buggy, given past issues it almost seems certain that some won’t be “auto-completed” if already done. It’s like asking for trouble. Three, come on, I was looking for some new challenges, some replay interest in the game, something NEW. Four, getting 7 or 8 ( I might need a few more levels for Another One Bites the Dust) in one fell swoop is not the way I like to attain my achievements, especially when they aren’t even properly earned.
Just got a nice little surprise after a restart. New achievements just went live. 6 just unlocked for me! 59/89 for the game, that’s 69% of the way to 100% overall now! The AMG and Bronco ones didnt unlock so I guess I have to complete those again.
I hope I’ve perceived it wrong but by what somebody has posted on TA + the fact no users on there are showing as having unlocked it while they have for the other ones I think One For All + Back In The Saddle could be bugged.
People wonder why some of us default to pessimism + cynicism (sorry I mean the preferred words they like to use in ‘negative’ and ‘hating’) when it comes to PG? Well here’s a fine example if it turns out they are bugged.
Barn Find achievement was bugged at the start of FH4.
I ended up having to win the Eliminator 3 times in the Mini to unlock Heads Up (win without acquiring any car drops)
Yet at the same time the ‘Survive until the final showdown in a Level 1 car’ one didn’t unlock until 4 days after.
And the achievement for owning the Sunflower Meadows house was bugged on arrival if you already owned the house.
That’s 4 instances of broken achievements with plenty of time between them, 4 times making the same mistake and not learning from it, now what do we get in the sequel’s very first set of update achievements? The same mistake, twice.
I hope I’ve got this completely wrong but at the time of writing this exactly 56 people who’ve unlocked at least 1 achievement in these have been scanned on TA, and the other update achievements have varying numbers for how many have unlocked them, One For All + Back In The Saddle meanwhile have 0.
So either it’s a case of CJ’s ‘Ah (you know what), here we go again’ with PG making the same mistake or it’s a preposterous scenario where an achievement hunting website has somehow managed to scan 56 people that have all done at least 1 of the other achievements but not a single one of that 56 has happened to have done a custom Open race in the Bronco or the AMG-One.
Please let me be wrong and look a complete fool with this post, having pessimism justified isn’t a good thing.
