Most impressive is the developers’ unwillingness to give an explanation to the users, let alone to say that they have a problem that they are trying to solve. Support junk, and it’s not just this forza. Since Forza 1 I try to update my status in the hub forza and it does not work. [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D]. I’m just playing FH4 because I have the microsoft gamepass, because buying the game with my money is one thing this company will not see anymore.

i was on windows 10 1809 and forza ran fine, as soon as i upgraded to 1903 forza refuses to open.

I believe this was my demise as well, except FH4 is running fine, while FM7 is crashing every time.

THIS WORKED TO ME:

Windows
In settings > Update and Security > View update history > Uninstall updates
I actually uninstalled the latest entry (June 11 KB4503293)
Restarted, currently on the KB4497935 build and I can install and play FH4 now.

In my case I had already uninstalled the game. I installed it again and it worked, I’m playing.

I’m on 1809, dont have that update installed and have the same issue. Just sayn

Getting the same issue. Game won’t start and uninstalling that windows update didn’t fix it.

If you guys are willing to start a new game, that option works. Open the Microsoft store. Click on your profile Image and then click settings. Make sure your Offline Permissions is set to ON. Reset your game on the Forza app settings (shown earlier in this thread), and when you load the game, disconnect your computer from the internet. It’ll start a new game. Play a while until it saves. Restart the game with internet and it’s going to ask which save you want to load and load the newest one. New game, no glitch. what did it cost? EVERYTHING.
