[FH4] Identify current car tune

For the life of me, I can’t seem to find the current tune a car is using, just wondered if I’m missing it? (one of my Falcons has an S2 951 tune that it came with, looked in the Find New Tunes option, but it’ not listed in there either).

I know I could add it to auction to identify it (oh how I wish it had a “remove from auction” option, amongst other things), but don’t want to lose it (it just won me The DK from DK, and she both handles and races fantastically).

Would appreciate any assistance if possible please.

If you get in a car, go into Upgrades and Tuning, My Tunes, and the tune is listed in there. If the tune isn’t in there then it is applied to the car only.

If you bought it in the AH, then there is no way of subsequently identifying the tuner other than doing a search of all S2 tunes and looking for one with identical stats (and even that’s not guaranteed as more than one tuner can use the same build but tune differently and they might also have removed the tune).

As you say, you can see the tuner if you sell in the AH if it’s that important - you could get a friend to insta buy it and sell it back (Can’t imagine a Falcon will be bought out by a bot!).

It’s one of many little quality of life improvements that would make a big difference to the game, but they never implement any of them, despite so many of these things having been pointed out to them right at the time the game was released. They’ve made a game where tuning is incredibly important, and it’s so obvious that the game should show you the name of the tune and tuner for each car on the car selection screen, but it doesn’t. Just like it doesn’t let you download a shared tune from leaderboards, even though FM7, which came out before FH4, has that feature. Just like you can’t see where you are on a rivals leaderboard, or change car, without exiting the event and going back in. Just like it provides no help in finding duplicate cars to delete when you’ve run out of garage space, and knowing which of them are autoshow cars so can be re-purchased if needed, vs the hard to replace exclusive cars. Etc.

Very much appreciated, cheers chaps

I just want to know how many people have used a specific tune of mine.
