While in horizon 2 we had the off-road storm island expansion, I think horizon 3 should go a different route since the majority of the map is off-road. There should be a drift focused expansion with unique drift courses set in the desert or forrest areas.

personally think this is a great idea, id change the locations. should make some industrial areas. thisi s where all the drifters go at night so would be pretty cool to see some industrial areas in the game

Also putting drift zones in them would ruin it, drift zones are fun but regular drifting is more fun.

I feel like making a new zealand DLC would be perfect for this. You could combine long twisty roads on mountains with lush, snowy forests for offroading and long grass plains. Sounds perfect.

I would love Japan but I don’t see it happening, Horizon 2 & 3 (Didn’t play 1) are set in locations with lots of scenery, Japan would likely be too much for them with all the sky scrapers etc.
It will probably be the other half of Aus.

you do realize they already made whatever it is. It’s in Australia they aren’t going to add drifting in Japan. My guess Tasmania is it. We don’t even get Japanese tracks in 6

I think they should have a car dlc pack for drift legends cars. Toyota cressida/ chaser toyota soarer. Nissan laurel nissan d21 pick up toyota tacoma/ heliux lexus is300 ect… Along with the corresponding body mods or styles shakotan bosozoku and other things. Just more style and drift style cars! Id for sure pay for that!

If there is a drift expansion, it needs the added feature of no traffic (the ability to turn on and off), plus some proper areas and game modes.

So we need a drift expansion, a drift track or multiple tracks, where to put them? Take advantage of a wide open area(there’s too many in horizon 3) this way there will be no traffic. This expansion should include the “drift legends” car pack mentioned in a comment above. No they won’t make a dlc expansion featuring a different country, at least it seems highly unlikely, the drift expansion cars should include Toyota Cressida, Toyota chaser jzx100, fc rx7, Lexus is300, 1993 nissan 240sx SE “horizon edition” origin overfenders, type x kit, Kouki taillights and wing, and a vented hood with nice looking wheel fitment
