FH2 Drift Rule Set (X1 Beta)

Hello, this is Daiguren. To new people that do not know me. I am a tournament organizer and in charge of VFD. Just wanted to get some public opinions on this beta rule set that has been carefully planned. Goal is to try to get tourneys started some time after the new year. VFD is not running until FM6, but want to host separate tourneys. I will link you to the rulebook and let you guys take a look. Please leave any positive feedback or any problems feel free to post in a nice manner. If you are not familiar with the VFD rule set. Take the time to read the entire rulebook. These are some key sections that need to be read:
2.1
4.1
6.2
7.1

A little off topic, but why not run another VFD on FM5 in 2015?

I want to test and see if the spectate car and Game DVR work proper since there is no other way to spectate in game.

Due to quite a lot of lacking features in both FM5 and FH2, the only way I see these running is through judges sitting on corners and a camera car sitting behind. Unfortunately, this voids any use of complaints/protests about battles where judges can look back and see if the verdict of a battle had a correct decision or not. You could set up a mini tourney like you suggest Daiguren, but it should not be as competitive as VFD, due to a new community that hold a relatively weaker field than previous competitors in the past.

So if it were to be anything like VFD, we will have to wait and see whether or not Turn 10 place the proper features that quite a few people relied upon for competitions, especially VFD, into FM6, as long as the franchise has not fallen to rubble by then considering the way they have been ‘moving forward’ with the franchise in a closed community perspective.

You can view other people’s uploads on the activity feed. He required that the contenders record each run on game dvr, it says it in the rule set. The judge could also just use the upload of the stream car for reference as well. All you have to do to see others uploads is add them as a friend, they dont even have to add you back, since its xbox one.

As for the competition stuff, I mean, a competition is only as competitive as you make it. There aren’t nearly as many people on wheels right now but that will change as time goes on, and that doesn’t mean competition should just stop if not as many people are on wheels. This is all for good fun anyway, I just want to get people together and start making some consistent sections and get some good tandems going.

Can’t wait, looking forward to it

I like it, but like in FM5 I’m still not sure how the weight to tire width rule can be enforced.

Nevertheless I’d like to get involved if you need help.

It requires kind of an “off” method, but it can be done. It requires the organizer to apply your tune to a fresh car, then remove the tune, and then see which parts they own. This will determine whether they are running the correct tire/weight ratio. Also, sport and race tires can be identified visually, outside of being verified from applying and removing the tune and checking owned parts.

 but i cant record on my xbox or the mother of all lag will rain down on the competition

  1. You need to hard reset your xbox.
  2. You might have too many clips in your upload
  3. Your internet

How are you even connected to xbox live? Not trying to be funny
