FH2 360

I’ve been playing FH2 on the 360 for a couple of hours and here is what I can take from it.

The scenery feels empty. There are many spots on the map where you look off the road and it looks like it’s still in beta, just empty textured land.

Too much grip. When I first got into the 69 SS Camaro and went to depart on my first journey I was immediately disappointed by the sheer grip of the stock tires. The car in stock form drives like it’s equipped with race tires, floor it and you have to really rev the engine to barely skid the tires from a stop; and it doesn’t like to slip and slide like I would expect the car to do. Also, while driving off road I managed to make the car climb a hill it had no business being on. It was just off the side of a road, the incline was at least 60 degrees or more, climbed it like nothing; get to the top and the hill changes from this steep grade to a much shallower grade and then traction loss finally comes into play and I slide off.

If the new devs had made this from scratch I’d personally rate it at 5 out of 10, but being that most all resources were given to them I’d consider it a 2 out of 10. The 360 version feels so… “meh”

It could be made better with updates and tweaks.

Are you sure its stock tires? In the One version when you choose a car they put upgrades on automatically, but its hard to tell unless you go into the garage and check

Yeah, same deal on 360 - the starting car is pre-tuned(D500 for the Camaro SS 396)…
My issue is how the increased/decreased stat value in the upper right corner of the upgrade parts icons are missing(weight increase/decrease on aftermarket wheels; ride height difference on suspension upgrades, etc.)…

EDIT: I assumed incorrectly, based on how infrequently a car happens to sit at the very top of it’s class bone-stock…

The starter cars in the 360 game are all stock and in different classes. The Camaro is D class, the Supra B and I don’t remember the other car.

I can confirm just about everything in the original post, having played the 360 version for a couple hours yesterday. That being said, I did enjoy the handling and general feel of the cars despite the added grip. With manual/clutch and all assists off it’s still fun to drive the higher-powered vehicles. I plan on going back and playing it again, but it will probably be a while as I’m having too much fun in the XO version at the moment.

the 3rd car is a bmw z4 in the a class…

I’m just going to consider the 360 version an expensive beta. It’s got roads, it’s got cars, it’s got races; and in some spots it even has nice scenery and the handling still feels like Forza, only you’re driving on glue!

Can’t wait to really see what the Xbox One version is like.
