Hello people, any configuration to thrutmaster t300? thanks!
#1 Turn OFF Sim Steering
#2 Read this thread, most settings you need are on page 1: https://forums.forza.net/turn10_postst99324_FFB--is-it-fixed--UP---PC--Thank-the-gods--Pray-for--XBOX.aspx]/url]
I gave up trying and sold my T300. It felt like driving down a rubber walled road and constantly bouncing off the walls like a pinball machine.
Awful product. Hated it so much. Fanatec are not much better.
Very unrealistic feel.
I have a T300 from Thrustmaster. I am pretty sure you must have had poor settings and/or a broken wheel if your experience with it was like that, mine is nothing like that at all. Glad you found a device that works for you though.
To the original poster, these are pretty much the same settings I use for my T300 on the PC version of FM7. I made the video back when I was still using a Logitech G920.
Within the Thrustmaster driver settings, I have my “overall Strength of all forces” set at 50%. On the PC version of FM7, you will need to adjust your wheels degrees of rotation (DOR for short) manually within the driver software, not within the game. T10, for whatever reason, didnt add the option to change this within the game itself. The DOR WILL need to be changed depending on the type of car you are using. Such as a road car set to 900°, and the Renault F1 car set to 250°; as an example.
I also have in game ‘vibration scale’ currently set to 50% on the T300. And because I run at 50% overall forces in the driver for the wheel, I have the ingame ‘Force Feedback Scale’ set to 100%.
DO NOT run your wheel at 100% overall forces in the driver, and ingame force feedback scale at 100%. It will overdrive the wheel, it will muddy the signals. And it could potentially break the motors and/or other parts of the wheel device itself.
Here’s another vid you can have a look at, by one of the resident legends around here.
Goes into a lot of detail too.
Blue if there’s any updates to this, excluding emu wheel for us XBox peeps, let us know.
My apologies for necroing this thread, but I just got the game today on my PC and was having such a bad time with how my T300RS was feeling. When I am playing GT-Sport or iRacing , my wheel feels perfectly fine, but with FM7, it felt really notchy , almost like a Logitech G27 when you fight against the FFB when set too high. Also the FFB and the steering weight, just felt weak, like the wheel was in overheat mode.
Thanks to this thread, I at least have some better idea of where to start from and what things I need to avoid having switched on!
I literally laughed out lout when I read the post about selling his T300, long the best bang-for-your-buck wheel on the market, because it didn’t feel right. At the time of posting, the poor FFB feel was 100% on Turn 10 and 0% on that T300.
